That's the new feature coming in soon I believe.
The current scanning is just to check the game's brand new selling price.
E-bay is always a good alternative, ive seen lots of Import games bought/sold that way, you also dont send the game until the cheque has cleared so its a pretty safe way to do business on your part :)

They will search for it on their system - if they haven't noticed by then.
I've worked for Game in the past and that's what I'd've done - but I would've also noticed the ESRB, Seal of Quality, etc
