Well, not until just a minute ago there.
Some of the settings and vehicles look much better on a second look, the visuals are much better than they looked before, and it seems like there's an awful lot to do. As well as the speed being sorted out too, which is tops.
Should be excellent.

Yeh, I've seen 3 so far. 1 on top of a cube, 1 in an area with sewer pipes and another one that looks similar to the multi platform one on N64.
Only 12 tracks though. :(
I shall be expecting a Double Dash 2 before the Cubes end.

I'd rather Ninty release it as a launch title on their next console.

Just hope like they said that there's a lot of stuff to unlock and secrets to find. Hell even a thing like the trophy collection machine thingy in Smash Bros would be good.
