"Wow! Goldeneye (the game) on TV last night......."

Did anyone else see the TV prog 'extremists' last night on channel 4? All about extreme sports. There was a bit on huge bungee jumps and they showed a clip from the Goldeneye film followed by a report by the guy who did the jump actually playing that level in the game. It was a great 'ad' for N64 (bit late now I know) and quoted as being 'one of the biggest selling games of all time'.

Great stuff. And a fantastic programme.

Goldeneye is better than Perfect Dark.

Gamestation are the best chain game shop around.

But then again, it's only competition is GAME...

(SR could be classed as one but, come on, how could I buy 2nd hand games from them in Manchester?)

Yeh sorry, I meant utter cr*p compared to Goldeneye. It was an OK game but still came nowhere near the Goldneye experience! And nothing will EVER compete/better Perfect Dark.

Please dont get it from Gamestation - bad experience. I bought what they were calling a 'new' red n64 controller and when I got it home it was the worst controller I had ever used!! And they argued when I returned it that I hadn't bought it from them!

Well I wouldn't go that far. It's like a Sega-made FPS. A bit too arcadey and not accurate enough for my tastes.

Still it owns it's own little FPS corner.

It's no Goldeneye/Perfect Dark though.

Someone was playing 'Wave Race:Blue Storm' on the Bill or something once, and he got boosts every 5 seconds.

I might get a pad from Gamestation or Cash Generator soon...
