Did anyone else see the TV prog 'extremists' last night on channel 4? All about extreme sports. There was a bit on huge bungee jumps and they showed a clip from the Goldeneye film followed by a report by the guy who did the jump actually playing that level in the game. It was a great 'ad' for N64 (bit late now I know) and quoted as being 'one of the biggest selling games of all time'.

Great stuff. And a fantastic programme.

I was enraged when i found out that Ryu didn't win the Nintendo Fighting Championship in NOM - he'd kick Mario's ass anyday.

What could Mario do? Jump on his head? Spray him? Ryu would just laugh then Shadouken him.

I concur. No matter how much time I've expended on GoldenEye, I've spent more on Streetfighter

Hey look PD and Goldeneye were both great. End.

Cool, it makes me laugh how people play computer games on telly, usually to much overuse of the R/L R1/R2/L1/L2 buttons.. which is quite weird!

Anyhow, Engineering rules..

Suppose so! But it feels like that when you walk in any GAME store. X-Box in one corner, Gamecube stuffed into one rack in the other corner and PS1 and 2 literally pouring out into the street!

Depends.

Goldeneye is better as a 4 player game but Perfect Dark obviously owns in a 4/5/6 a side battle of 2 teams. Both are absolutely stunning as multiplayer games.
