There was one track on the first GT which I liked.

Great fun in both single/multi mode, doesn't take itself seriously, and yet is a highly accomplished racer and is above all fun.
Or a racer that takes itself far to seriously, and ends up in trawls around godawful tarmac tracks listeing to the same music over and over again, and then doing it again because you didn't cut the corner at the right time and angle.

The first GT was awesome. The second was good. The third was dragged out and dreadfully long.
