Graphically inferior? That matters sooo sooo much in a game, doesn't it? Bah. It's the gameplay that matters, and gameplay is where Pro Evolution Soccer excels. In terms of actual gameplay, it doesn't get better than PES. The Master League is quite possibly the most innovative and lengthly feature ever put into a console football game. "Silly gay stats and hair colours" - erm, muh? You've been reading about a different PES, matey. PES is pure football, played by gamers that want a challenge from their football games. Not much in the way of licensing doesn't matter, as PES is as solid a football game you're ever going to play.

Fifa's many installments of needing to simply hammer the sprint button around defenders and press shoot from just about anywhere to score have made us all quite bitter, and despite the recent leaps forward in terms of gameplay that have made Fifa into quite the little football game, it's still quite far behind PES3's fluidity and realism, even if it has all the kits and names.
