The numbers are the site number. The first one to be put in was #1, the 30th was #30, etc...

It only goes from 70 - 40 to limit download times. I didn't want people downloading 70 links unless they didn't want to. It's for the benefit of regular visitors (yes, they exist!). To view all the sites, there is a link to view all them called "show all" underneath the "Weblog" heading.
