Tell me, are there any games that you have/had on your 8/16/32/64 Bit consoles that you'd like to see a sequel for on Gamecube/PS2 or X-Box?

Personally, I'd love to have a Mario Sports title... I loved Mario Tennis and Mario Golf, I did think up an idea for Mario Olympics, but I doubt that'll ever come around.

I didn't take to Perfect Dark so much... JFG was good, but quite tedious. Banjo would be good, and definitely an other Turok, Turok games are quite good once you get into them... I just stick all the cheats in and blast away!

I'm still looking forward to all the support from EA... I thought TWINE was a dire game, the graphics were terrible and they messed the game up so much with the 'anti-aliasing' (SP?) But, I can't wait for FIFA on the Gamecube... a spruced up Rumble Racing might be good, I like to the look of that.

Of course, we'd all love NiGHTS, Toe jam and Earl and some other SEGA classics that made up our childhood... But really, Sega have to share their franchises out... Each company might get about 2 exclusives at most, I'd have NiGHTS and Sonic.

So, your requests?

Streets of Rage,Double dragon or Golden Axe 3D update, however diar the gameplay was I just had too keep going back for more, theres something about pressing the same button over and over again to do the same 3 hit combo, I dont know what but they where sooooo addictive.

Good news for you then, Game. Turok 4 is making a dazzling appearance on Gamecube and it couldn't look more inviting. However, lets hope that good old Acclaim focus their minds on making it more like Turok 2 than any other, because, lets face it, Turok 2 was by far the best of the lot, ay?

Hmm, what was that game called where you where a toad...or was it a frog? Anyway, it was a basic platformer which involved you jumping around glorious 2D levels with a hint of 3D trying to collect golden coins - can anyone remember or even realise what I'm on about? :o)

Shocky the Shocktrooper.

This would be brilliant. I thought the original was brilliant. How it would be done I am not sure, but would be good never-the-less.

Thunderhawk - coming to PS2

Spyhunter - Coming to PS2

Emmmm, well, emmmm, any more?? It has to be Sensible World of Soccer, a decent version though, not the crappy PC versions.

Shinobi would be good if it was done in a Tenchu style!

What about a Secret of Mana update too? Or a new mystical ninja game!

Sounds a lot like Thief: The Dark PRoject on the PC, only with bows and arrows, but still utilisng the stealth approach, as opposed to the Gung-ho Quake approach.

I better get back to the issue at hand. ;-)

Old games I'd like to see re-appear on the next generation consoles?

Trouble is, can they ever be as good as you imagine them, and are they as good as you remember?

If my vision of these games could be realised, I'd love to see them reappear:

Shinobi. Tremendous potential here. Ninja's have been criminally underused in recent years, I think the Turtles kind of ruined their image, but hey, this game would rule. Of course it would have to move on from the 2D platformer, so what would it become?

I think it would make a great First Person Adventure/Shooter. You see through the ninja's eyes as he uses his stealth to sneak into certain places, but has a wide range of weapons at his disposable should they be required, from shurikens to take out distant enemies, to a katana blade, and nunchukas for those closer to you.

The original Shinobi game had you locating children, the new one could be the same, but with massive 3D areas to explore.

Wonderboy. Wonderboy rules. The initial game was good, a platformer that required you to keep up a decent pace in order to keep your 'vitality' up. The sequles were more like adventure/RPGs with shops in which you could buy upgrades to weapons, and you grew in strenght as you defeated each boss. The third game game you the ability to change into different creatures, after being cursed by the meka dragon. A new Wonderboy game would combine elements of all games, with you having to keep moving to get the fruit to keep your strength up, the upgrading of weapons and skills, and the exploration and ability to take on many different forms. That game would rule!

Earthbound. I'm only early in the SNES game so far, but it's such a great RPG that a sequel would be warmly welcomed.

Shadowrun. The SNES RPG was excellent, and it promised a sequel at the end of the game. There was also a Megadrive version, but it was different. I'd like on very similar to the SNES original!

Fantasy Zone. Opa Opa rules. Cute shoot-em up's rule too. A big 3D version of this game, would rule.

Alex Kidd. Alex Kidd is cool. He WAS Sega's mascot before Sonic came along and dumped him in the bin. He could easily have been Sega's answer to Mario in later generations too.

I've gone blank now, but those games would rule!
