Is it just a regular building in Boston or does it have some kind of special connection to anything? I couldn't quite grasp it from the article.

Anyway, I found it funny that the 'Derek Jeter Center' name was considered 'obscene', and yet it wasn't considered as bad as if he had chosen A-Rod...

i feel it's important to remember that these are quite generalised statements and attitudes are all down to the individual. to imply all black people are racist towards other cultures is of course totally untrue (and vice versa of course), but as ever it's only the negative aspect of any argument that will be reported.

Hahaha, I've discussed that blackboard thing in class too...it's a big joke tbh. We came to the same conclusion as your class. Tbh, its become unfair...just because white people were really racist to black people back in the day doesn't mean that now they can be racist to white people and not have anything done about it.
