You do need a lot of stamina. To hold your arm and throw your darts in the place you want it, it does start to hurt after a while and some games can last 2-3 hours.
Possibly accuracy but I really don't see the stamina part. Maybe I find darts crap because I dunno the rules :P
But you could say that about any sport. Why do we like watching people kicking balls around a pitch? Why do we like watching someone potting balls in pockets? Why do we like watching people slamming each other?
