OK, I'm going to digress into a different sport now...

It was great to see the rotting corpse of the once great Nottingham Forest team crawl unaided into it's own grave and not put up any resistance to an equally poor coventry side shutting the lid. Just got to wait for the remaining nails to be hammered into place over the coming weeks and my boys will finally be condemned to our first trip to the third tier of English football in over 40 years...

Not that I'm bitter or disillusioned in any way, shape or form.

How much do main event Wrestlers get paid on average?

I was reading about JBL who got $10 for his first match and $25 when he moved up to the main event in that business (not sure where it was, it was at the beginning of his wrestling career), now obviously he gats paid a lot more, but i was wondering how much main eventers in WWE get paid...anyone know?

Yup that was shown on RAW this week with Batista getting so much air time compared to HHH ............ oh, wait :-D

Probably because they were both the champions. :-) They'll have a little less time spent on them now which will be spent on the two new champs I'm guessing.

WWE was best in 1996-1999 (1996 being an amazing year), and it's increasingly gone down the toilet ever since. Wasting wrestlers, stupid storylines, and some incredibly tasteless angles - it makes me angry. Far too much time is spent on Triple H/JBL every week, rather than showcasing the best talent.

Hmm, yeah, I really should tryto bring some new conversation to thwe table. It's been ages since we had a good debate about anything. Probably because we all agree that the WWE is rubbish at the moment...

Not a great result for Seattle last night, even though they managed to score some runs off Santana. Sexson, Beltre and Ichiro got more hits though so it's an encouraging opening batting lineup.
