Well Sheffield was talking about leaving anyway at end of this season so i wouldn't be surprised to see him traded this year. The one person i'd like to see in the pinstripes is Ichiro
Anyway, the Yankees are looking like shifting up a gear. They were talking about the Yankees last night and they were saying that only 3-4 players are playing well and the others aren't pulling their weight.
They were talking about a 'fire sale' which I would assume in a clearout, but it sounded like a few players are on big contracts which would cost a heck of a lot.
2 shutouts in 2 and one from Kevin Brown of all people. Now Oakland won't exactly be having their line up competing for any batting titles but still pretty good.
