Not necessarily. Sometimes, PC games, even though you have the joypad, require you to use the keyboard as well. There is no chance of that happening on a console.

I tried the demo on PC and found the controls very hard. I couldn't even pick up a knife!
XIII looks okay. Haven't played it and I'm not really into those sort of games but I'd give it a go because I'm a fair guy.
I only got it yesterday but it seems quite good. :)
