Nah, it's not going to start any war. I wouldn't have minded getting a SNES but back in those days, I just didn't have the money for both. The two factors for me were that Megadrive games were cheaper and Sonic.

Hehe, it was always the better one :P

I went with the SNES rather than the Megadrive.

It would help if my maga drive actually worked.

I have (on the mega drive) Sonic 1, Sonic 2 and Sonic And Knuckles.

I own the originals and Sonic Mega Collection. The originals will be worth quite a bit in a decade or so, perhaps longer. It's not like I'd sell them anyway. Too good to sell.

I kind of own them all. I have Sonic Mega Collection.
