Can anyone remember the last time the main title changed hands on RAW? I'm not saying the title should change hands every month on RAW but when you know the main title is only going to change hands at a PPV making any title match on Raw meaningless, unless it adds to the storyline, which is pretty rare.
I don't agree that the Internet has killed wrestling. It's people that create columns that have a go at the product week in, week out that have killed wrestling. These people have become elevated to the point where their word is being heard more than the product that is shown.
It's not wrong to openly air an opinion and whenever I have a go at something, I always mention it's my opinion or if I don't, I'm having a laugh. The Internet columnists put their views across as hard fact. It's easy to critisise because you'll find the majority of people will agree with you. When you stand up to critisism (in the right way), you are seen as strange because it goes against the current negative view.
He kept going on about how fans keep rejecting gimmicks. Has anyone ever thought that people reject the gimmick because of poor booking or the fact that they can't entertain in the ring? That's where the focus should be, in the ring. You can see the difference between the talented and the less talented. The less talented seem to get the pushes because they have the gimmick and the charisma. The talented get held back because they lack a gimmick that they feel will get them over or lack the charisma for the top.
In recent years, we've been given people at the top who aren't ready. It has shown in their in-ring work. That's not to say that we shouldn't give them the chance but surely giving them a bit of time is beneficial? Instead, people like Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton have been given the main prize that most people take an interest in when their in ring work has looked green or needing a good opponent to work with.
I admit that Brock Lesnar did develop into someone worth watching but when he first won the title, he wasn't. We were force fed with him early. But he learned. That seems to be a pretty rare thing. Everyone needs to learn and adapt in every walk of life, so it's no different to wrestlers. Everyone has the ability to improve themselves and everyone should go out there and be whatever they can be and do it to the best of their ability. Anyone who says they have nothing to work on in their lives is lying.
I'm not a person that focuses on the main title all the time. I feel that titles like the Intercontinental title and the US title are there to build the new stars of the future. They should be given the same chance as the established to show what they are made of and they can do that a small step down. I was a big fan of Crash because he made me laugh when he was chasing that Hardcore title and I enjoyed watching to find out if he could hold on to it or win it back.
I could go on but I've rambled on enough. Again, this is just my opinion on things. I just feel that the general bashing of the Internet is wrong. Some people don't know anyone that enjoys wrestling and the Internet is a fine way to talk about it. It's all about opinions. No one opinion is better than another. By all means, air your opinions and be willing to back them up, without being rude obviously. Everything isn't going to appeal to everyone.

Been invited to join the team though and got a tenner so day wasn't totally wasted
Well, my 22 hour day is well underway. Pretty tired for the majority of the morning after about 4 hours sleep but a coffee has perked me up a bit. Another 15 hours to go...
4 hours may not seem that bad but I'm used to 9-10. :)
And we all know I have a chance with Ms Stevens so I kind of want to hold out.
I'll just wait until she says something.
> Anyway good to see you've got him trained already
Of course was there ever any doubt?
