Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit vs. Triple H and Stone Cold Steve Austin (c)
In the arena, Stone Cold Steve Austin's music hit and he made his way to the ring as the WWF Champion, and one half of the Tag Team Champions! Triple H and Stephanie came out next, followed by Chris Benoit. Chris Benoit came out and he waited at the bottom of the ramp for Chris Jericho. This is fixing to be one hell of a tag team contest with the titles on the line! I'm truly jacked! Benoit and Jericho got in the ring and the match started off with Stone Cold Steve Austin against Chris Jericho. Austin and Jericho went to lock up but Austin kicked him in the gut and then he slammed his head into the turnbuckle a number of times. Austin kicked away on Chris Jericho in the corner and the referee was there to make the count. Austin slammed Jericho's head into the turnbuckle and then he whipped Jericho off the ropes and Jericho came back with a high cross body pin for a one count. Jericho rolled Austin up and got another one count. Jericho chopped Austin across the chest and then Austin whipped Jericho off the ropes and tossed him to the outside but Jericho landed on the apron and he came off the top rope with an elbow to the head.

Jericho got Austin in an arm bar and then Austin raked the eyes of Jericho. Austin gave Jericho a knee to the mid section to knock him down and then he made the tag to Triple H. Jericho chopped Triple H to knock him down and then he slammed Triple H into the turnbuckle and made the tag to Chris Benoit. The two double teamed Triple H and Benoit chopped Triple H across the chest. Triple H grabbed Benoit and slammed him into the corner and then made the tag to Austin. Austin backed Benoit into the corner and chopped him hard across the chest a number of times. Benoit reversed him and chopped Austin to return the favor. Benoit whipped Austin off the ropes and Austin came back with a shoulder block to knock Benoit down. Benoit gave Austin a knee to the mid section and then a snap suplex. Benoit kicked Austin in the back of the neck and then he perched Austin on the top rope. Benoit chopped Austin as he was on the top rope and then he hooked him in a super plex! Benoit pinned Austin for a two count as Triple H broke it up. Triple H and Austin double teamed Benoit in the corner and he battled out of the corner with right hands on both Triple H and Austin.

Austin raked Benoit in the eyes and then Benoit went for the Crossface on Austin and he locked it in as Jericho came off the top rope with a drop kick to Triple H. Triple H got a steel chair and he nailed Benoit in the back with it as he had the Crossface on Austin. Triple H put Austin on Benoit and then he pinned him for a two count! Phew! Austin rubbed Benoit's face on the mat and then he gave him an elbow to the back of the head. Austin gave Benoit another elbow and then he choked Benoit with his boot. Triple H got Benoit on the outside of the ring and he slammed him into the steel steps and then rolled him back into the ring where Austin pinned him for a two count. Austin tagged in Triple H and then Triple H got in the ring with some kicks to the mid section on Benoit. Triple H picked Benoit up and backed him into the corner and gave him some right hands. Benoit fired out of the corner with some right hands and then he whipped him off the ropes and Triple H came back with the face buster on Chris Benoit. Triple H pinned Chris Benoit for a two count. Triple H made the tag to Austin and then Austin got in the ring and gave Chris Benoit a low blow. Austin picked Benoit up by the head and then he put him over the second rope and choked him as the referee was there to make the count.

Austin jumped on Benoit and then he stomped away on him as he was down on the mat. Stephanie looked on from ringside and then Austin went over to Jericho and gave him a cheap shot. Jericho tried to get into the ring but the referee stopped him and Triple H got in the ring and stomped away on Chris Benoit. Triple H illegally stayed in the ring and he backed Benoit into the corner and gave him a shoulder block to the mid section and then again. Triple H brought Benoit to his corner and he got the abdominal stretch on Benoit and Austin pulled his hand for added leverage. The referee yelled at Jericho as he tried to get in the ring and then he checked on Chris Benoit as he was fading out. Triple H once again grabbed the hand of Austin to cheat and then the referee kicked their hands apart to break the hold. Benoit went off the ropes and took Triple H down with a shoulder block and then Triple H got a sleeper on Benoit and Chris Benoit fell to a knee, fading away. Benoit battled back to his feet and he got a German suplex on Triple H! Chris Benoit wasn't able to hold onto it for another, but he attempted to make a tag to Chris Jericho but Triple H was able to stop him. Benoit hit Triple H with an Enziguri and then he made the tag to Jericho but the referee didn't see it!

Triple H tossed Benoit to the outside of the ring where Austin beat up on him in front of the announcer's table. Jericho went after Austin and knocked him down on the outside of the ring. Triple H got the Pedigree on Chris Benoit in the middle of the ring and then he pinned him but the referee was on the outside of the ring. Chris Jericho came off the top rope with a missile drop kick on Triple H and then both men made the tags! Jericho clotheslined Austin down to the mat and then he hit Austin with a flying forearm. Jericho knocked Austin down and then he knocked Triple H to the outside of the ring. Austin went for the Lou Thesz Press but Jericho countered it into the Walls of Jericho! Triple H got in the ring to break it up and Triple H limped to the announcer's table and he took the top off of it and he got Jericho on the announcer's table and he went to give him the Pedigree on the table but Jericho countered it into the Walls of Jericho on the announcer's table! With a fan attached to Jericho's arm, Benoit came off the top rope with the flying head butt on Stone Cold in the ring. Triple H was tapping out and the referee was there. Benoit tried to get the referee in the ring, but he wouldn't. Stone Cold hit the stunner on Benoit and then pinned him for a two count as Jericho pulled the referee out of the ring.

Jericho got in the ring and whipped Stone Cold to the corner and then he hit him with a bulldog. Triple H got a sledge hammer as Jericho went for the lionsault but Austin got his knee up. Austin went for the stunner but Jericho countered it and then he hit the lionsault on Austin. Jericho pinned Stone Cold, but the referee was out and Triple H went to hit Jericho with the sledge hammer but he hit Austin! Benoit held Triple H down and then Jericho pinned Stone Cold for a three count to get the win and become new WWF Tag Team Champions!

Note: This was the very match that put Triple H out of action earlier this year. Next Monday night, he will make his WWF return, coming off of very successful surgery and rehabilitation.

In the arena:
Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler talked about Triple H's injury, and it was amazing that Triple H finished the match. Jerry said that he can't wait to be at ringside a week from tonight, because Triple H makes his long awaited return to the ring at Madison Square Garden. Michael said it could be a Beautiful Day for Triple H, or an ugly day for the rest of the WWF.

A video package was shown, featuring the many things that the World Wrestling Federation has done in the past year, including singing, romance, betrayal, revenge, toilet humor, and plenty of good old fashioned fun!

WWF Tough Enough:
Clips from WWF Tough Enough were shown, and Jim Ross announced Nidia and Maven as the Tough Enough Winners.

In the arena:
Michael congratulated Nidia and Maven, because they are living out their dream with WWF contracts. Jerry mentioned WWF Tough Enough 2, but it's time to move onto Puppies! Jerry was surprised that this match didn't do better, because he spent a lot of time watching the match and voting!

Stacy Keibler's music hit in the arena and she made her way out with a cigar in her hand. Torrie came out and she took her shirt off and Stacy went to attack Torrie, but Torrie ducked it and kicked Stacy and then she slapped her. Torrie whipped Stacy, but Stacy flipped to avoid any problems. And again. Stacy kicked Torrie, and then she teased the fans as she started to take her robe off. Stacy then slapped Torrie across the chest and then Stacy got a whip and she started whipping Torrie on the bum Stacy nailed Jack Doan with the whip and then Torrie took Stacy down and the two rolled around on the mat, fighting. The two rolled right onto the referee and then Stacy slammed Torrie into the corner and then she choked her with her foot. Stacy whipped Torrie off the ropes and Torrie came back with a sunset flip pin for a two count. Counters by both Torrie and Stacy and what a mess. Torrie whipped Stacy into the corner and Stacy caught Torrie in a head scissors and then she went to the second rope and posed. Stacy grabbed Torrie, but Torrie nailed Stacy in the face. Torrie then pulled Stacy off the ropes and then Torrie pinned Stacy for a two count. Torrie nailed Stacy with the springboard elbow and then she pinned her for a three count to get the win, and a spank for good measure!

Clips of The Rock making his return to the WWF were shown from July 30th, earlier this year.

In ring promo:
Vince McMahon's music hit and he made his way to the ring to wait for The Rock! The Rock arrived to the arena just a few moments ago, but will he return to the World Wrestling Federation? Shane McMahon's music then hit and he made his way out along with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. The fans chanted for The Rock and Vince asked for a mic. The Rock's music hit in the arena and he made his way out! The Rock's music had a new mix to it and the fans went NUTS for the people's champion! The Rock got on the ring apron and did his usual posing on the ropes and it's been a long time since we've seen The Rock. The Rock did his posing in the corner and smelled it. Shane and Vince argued as they both clapped for The Rock and then the fans chanted The Rock's name as he stood in the ring, ready to speak! Shane said that feels great, doesn't it? But allow Shane to take The Rock down memory lane. Remember, the last time The Rock was in the WWF, he was screwed by that man, Vince McMcmahon and The Rock raised his eyebrow and Shane said let me take you back to RAW, the day after Wrestlemania.

Fortworth, Texas. The Rock was in a steel cage match and he was screwed by that man right there, Vince McMahon. What about the night before? Wrestlemania itself. Houston, Astrodome. The fans all watched Vince McMahon screw The Rock. Talking about Wrestlemania, let's go back to one further. Let's go back to the year prior Wrestlemania. What happened there? The Rock was screwed once again by that man right there. If The Rock does decide for some reason to come back to the WWF, Vince is what in store for him. Night after night after night. He'll be screwed over and over and over again by that man right there. Vince got on the mic and said quite frankly, Rock, Vince must admit that Shane's views are distorted but somewhat accurate. Vince has made good and bad decisions in the past. Vince can state that it was a very bad decision to back Stone Cold Steve Austin at The Rock's expense. Vince should have known better. After all, Austin is a Rattlesnake. It was a matter of time before Austin turned and bit him. Vince isn't going to stand here and offer an apology, because that would be empty handed to a man like The Rock.

Vince stands here and hopes that The Rock comes back to the WWF. If he does, Vince never has intention of ever screwing The Rock again. At the same time, Vince is looking in his eyes and he can't say that it would never happen again. If it was the right thing to do for business, he might do it. At least he's getting a truthful response and if nothing else, it's at least the devil that The Rock knows, as compared to the devils The Rock doesn't know. If The Rock comes back to the WWF, Vince is going to attempt to earn his respect and trust each and every day. The Rock may never trust Vince again, and Vince is all right with that. At least trust yourself and each and every one of these people! The fans went nuts and Vince said that The Rock's future is with these people and the World Wrestling Federation! Shane interrupted and said that the future is with the fans, but not with the World Wrestling Federation. Stephanie has said that the WWF is dying. It's dying. The Alliance is where the cool factor is. The Alliance is a progressive company and obviously, The Rock is a progressive man.

The Rock is a superstar that transcends it all. He's the biggest icon in the business and the biggest free agent in sports entertainment history. Shane extends his hand and his future is here. With the Alliance. The fans booed the hell out of that and Vince and Shane argued. Vince told The Rock not to listen to him. Make the right decision. Listen to the voice of reason and experience. Give the people what they want! The Rock gave Vince McMahon the Rock Bottom and then Shane was going nuts, proud that The Rock has joined the Alliance! Shane celebrated by running around the ring and taunting Vince and then The Rock looked over to Shane McMahon. Shane had a smirk on his face and he stopped. The Rock smiled and then Shane shook his hand and then The Rock gave him the Rock Bottom as well! The fans went nuts and The Rock laid out both Vince and Shane McMahon! Stephanie was the only one left in the ring, but what is The Rock's decision? Is he with the WWF or is he with the alliance? Shane was down and out in the middle of the ring and The Rock gave him the people's elbow! The Rock posed on the ropes, and the question remains, which side did The Rock pick?!

The fans chanted for The Rock and The Rock got on the mic and said "Finally, The Rock has come back to the WWF!"

The Rock and Austin started it off in the ring and they exchanged right hands and Austin backed The Rock into the corner and chopped away on him. The Rock countered Austin in the corner and gave him a number of right hands. Austin whipped The Rock off the ropes and he connected with the Lou Thesz Press and then he mocked the people's elbow and he landed an elbow. Austin pinned The Rock, but he only got a two count. Austin gave The Rock some right hands and then The Rock whipped Austin off the ropes and The Rock got Austin in a Lou Thesz Press and then he gave him some right hands and then he went off the ropes and mocked Austin and gave him an elbow. Austin was able to knock The Rock down and then he made the tag to Booker T. The Rock took Booker T down and then he pinned him for a two count as Shane McMahon broke up the pin. The Rock made the tag to Chris Jericho and he got in the ring and chopped away on Booker T. Chris gave Booker T a flap jack and then Booker T made the tag to Rob Van Dam.

The fans went nuts in favor of RVD and he and Chris locked it up and Chris got RVD in a side headlock and then RVD whipped Chris off the ropes and Chris came back with a shoulder block to knock RVD down. Chris knocked RVD down with a spinning heel kick and then he hooked him in a suplex and then the two exchanged right hands. Chris chopped Rob Van Dam against the ropes and then he whipped Rob off the ropes and he went for a drop kick, but Rob held onto the ropes. Rob then got a moonsault on Chris and then he pinned him, but he was only able to get a two count. Rob went for a hurricanrana, but Chris blocked it and he got the Walls of Jericho on, but Shane interrupted it by nailing Chris in the head. Kane and Booker T were tagged into the ring and then Kurt wanted to get in the ring against Kane. Kurt gave Kane a number of right hands into the corner and Kane countered and gave Kurt a number of right hands. Kane whipped Kurt into the other corner and he gave him a hard clothesline to knock him down.

Kane kicked Kurt in the gut and then he hooked him in a suplex, but Kurt got out of it and he gave him a German suplex. Kane sat up, and Kurt gave him a number of right hands. Kane got up and whipped Kurt into the corner and then he gave him a sidewalk slam. Kane went to the top rope and he came off with a jumping clothesline on Kurt and then he pinned him, but he only got a two count as Shane interrupted the pin. Kane tagged the Undertaker into the ring, and he got in there against Kurt and Kurt gave him a reverse elbow and he made the tag to Booker T. The Undertaker hammered away on Booker T and then he whipped him off the ropes and gave him a big boot to knock him down. The Undertaker then hit a leg drop on Booker T and then he pinned him, but Shane once again broke up the pin. The Undertaker yanked the arm of Booker T and the fans chanted "Shane's a p***y!" The Undertaker walked the top rope, holding onto Booker T and he came off with a hard shot to the back of Booker T to knock him down.

The Undertaker then twisted the arm of Booker T and then he grabbed his arm and lifted him up in the air and then he twisted him down to the mat and gave him a leg drop on the left arm. The Undertaker held onto his arm to wear him down, but Booker T got out of it. The Undertaker pinned Booker T, but Shane broke it up once again! Booker T made the tag to Austin, and he got in the ring and gave the Undertaker a number of right hands and kicks into the corner. Austin went to jump on the Undertaker in the ropes, but the Undertaker moved. The Undertaker then grabbed Austin by the arm and he went back to the top rope and he walked the top rope and he came off with a hard shot to the back of Austin to knock him down. The Undertaker pinned Austin, but Shane broke it up again. Austin then rammed the Undertaker into the corner and then he hammered away on him and Austin made the tag to Booker T. Kurt got in the ring and he kicked away on the Undertaker, and Kurt wanted in the ring, rather than Booker T. The Undertaker battled back with some hard right hands and then he whipped him off the ropes and Kurt took the Undertaker down with a neck breaker.

Kurt Angle pinned the Undertaker, but he only got a two count. The Undertaker battled back with some hard right hands and Kurt got the Undertaker in a waist lock, but the Undertaker gave him an elbow and then he kicked him in the gut and gave him a DDT. The Undertaker made the tag to The Big Show and he got in the ring and went to work on Kurt Angle. The Big Show hammered away on Kurt and then he tossed him across the ring with a hip toss. Rob Van Dam got in the ring, but The Big Show took care of him. The Big Show then pressed Rob Van Dam and he dropped him right down to the mat. The Big Show then grabbed Kurt by the throat and he went for the choke slam, but Kurt got out of it and he got the Angle Slam on The Big Show and then Kurt fell into the corner and Booker T tagged himself into the ring. Booker T gave The Big Show a scissors kick and then he got back to his feet with the spinaroonie. Rob Van Dam wanted the tag, and he got it. Rob then went to the top rope and he came off with the Five Star Frog Splash on The Big Show and then Shane McMahon went to the top rope off the tag and he gave The Big Show an elbow drop and then he pinned him for a three count to eliminate him.

Shane danced around the ring and The Rock got in the ring and gave him a number of right hands! The Rock hammered Shane and then he made the tag to Kane, and Kane got in the ring and gave Shane a choke slam. Kane made the tag to the Undertaker, and he got in the ring and the Undertaker gave Shane the tombstone piledriver! Chris Jericho then got the tag and he hit the lionsault on Shane and he pinned him for a three count to eliminate Shane as Rob tried to get in the ring, but the Undertaker scared him off. Kurt Angle then got in the ring and went at it with Chris Jericho and Chris knocked Kurt down with a flying forearm and then he gave him a double arm underhook back breaker and a pin for a two count as Austin broke up the pin. Kurt took Chris Jericho down and then he gave him a number of right hands. Booker T got the tag, and he got in the ring and gave Chris Jericho a series of body slams and then he made the tag to Rob Van Dam. Rob went to work on Chris, and he hit him with a couple of shoulder blocks, but Chris rolled Rob up in a pin for a two count. Chris made the tag to Kane, and he got in the ring and gave Rob some right hands and then he whipped him off the ropes and gave him a big boot.

Kane knocked Rob down with a series of clotheslines and then Rob went to hit Kane, but Kane caught his fist and twisted it. Rob backed Kane into the corner and gave him a couple of shoulder blocks and then Kane knocked Rob down with a hard clothesline. Kane gave Rob a power slam and then Kane pulled Booker T into the ring. Rob knocked Kane down with a heel kick and then he went to the top rope for the Five Star Frog Splash and he got it on Kane and then Kane grabbed Rob Van Dam by the throat and Booker T got in the ring and knocked Kane down from behind. The Undertaker knocked Booker T to the outside of the ring and all hell broke loose! Rob went to the top rope and he jumped at Kane with a kick to the chest as the rest of the two teams battled on the outside of the ring. Rob then pinned Kane for a three count to eliminate him. The Undertaker got right in the ring and he went at it with Rob Van Dam and he gave him a number of right hands and kicks in the corner. All of the Alliance guys got in the ring in each of the corners, and the Undertaker nailed each of them with clotheslines. The Undertaker then slammed Kurt onto the top turnbuckle and then he gave Austin a big boot. The Undertaker went for the Last Ride on Kurt, and he got it on!

Booker T got in the ring with a steel chair, but the Undertaker kicked it into his face. Austin then gave the Undertaker the Stunner and then he pulled Kurt onto the Undertaker to pin him to eliminate him! The Rock and Booker T went at it on the outside of the ring, and Booker T rolled The Rock back into the ring and the two went at it in the ring. Booker T nailed The Rock with a nasty side kick to knock him down and then Booker T picked The Rock up and The Rock gave Booker T a DDT and then a pin for a two count as Kurt Angle broke up the pin. Booker T and The Rock exchanged blows, and The Rock took Booker T down with a Samoan drop and then he pinned him for a two count as Austin broke up the pin. The Rock rolled Booker T up in a pin for a three count to eliminate him and Rob Van Dam quickly got in the ring against The Rock. Rob gave The Rock a number of right hands in the corner and then The Rock and Rob Van Dam knocked each other down out of the corner. The Rock made the tag to Chris and he got in the ring and took care of Rob Van Dam with some clotheslines and a swinging neck breaker and a pin for a two count.

Chris chopped away on Rob Van Dam in the corner and then Rob whipped Chris into the corner and Chris hopped over him and then he took him down with a bulldog. Rob then knocked Chris down with a spinning heel kick and then Rob Van Dam hit the split legged moonsault. Chris Jericho then gave Rob Van Dam the Break Down and then he pinned him fora three count to eliminate him! All four men immediately went at it and Austin gave The Rock a slingshot into the ring post as Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho battled it out in the ring. Kurt got Chris in a reverse chin lock to wear him down and the referee was there to check on Chris. Kurt took Chris down by the leg and then he kicked away on him and pinned him for a two count. Kurt made the tag to Austin and he got in the ring and gave Jericho some right hands and chops into the corner. Austin perched Chris on the top rope and then he hooked him in a super plex and then he pinned him for a two count. Austin took Chris down and then he gave him an elbow drop and he pinned him for a two count. Austin made the tag to Kurt Angle, and Kurt choked Chris over the second rope and then Austin choked Chris over the bottom rope behind the referee's back.

Kurt whipped Chris off the ropes and he gave him an elbow to knock him down. Kurt went for a German, but Chris rolled through it and he got the ankle lock on Kurt Angle, but Kurt rolled out of it. Kurt knocked Chris down and then he went over and made the tag to Austin. Austin got in the ring and he hooked Chris Jericho in a suplex and then he went to the second rope, but he got down and he stomped Chris Jericho. Austin whipped Chris Jericho off the ropes and then he knocked him down with a reverse elbow. Austin choked Chris Jericho with his boot and then he made the tag to Kurt Angle. Kurt gave Chris some shots to the back of the head and then he kicked away on him against the ropes. Austin took Chris down with a snap mare and then he held him in a reverse chin lock to wear him down. Chris battled out of it and he and Austin exchanged right hands and then both men collided and knocked each other down. Both men made the tags and The Rock got in the ring with a number of right hands on Kurt Angle. The Rock whipped Kurt off the ropes and he tossed him across the ring and then he knocked Austin down with a right hand. The Rock took Kurt down with a leg drag and then he got the Sharpshooter on Kurt Angle, and Kurt tapped out!

The referee tried to get The Rock to break the hold, but he wouldn't and Austin got in the ring and broke it up. Chris got the tag and then he got in the ring with some chops on Austin. Austin rolled Chris up in a pin for a two count. Austin went for the Lou Thesz Press, but Chris blocked it and he went for the Walls of Jericho. Austin raked the eyes and then he got up and pulled Chris down and he went for the Walls of Jericho on Chris Jericho, but Chris used his power to get out of it. Austin came off the second rope and Chris gave him a shot to the mid section and then he went for the lionsault, but Austin got his knees up and buried them into the abdomen of Chris Jericho. Austin then pinned Chris Jericho, but he only got a two count. Austin perched Chris Jericho on the top rope and he gave him a number of chops. Austin climbed up and Chris Jericho raked Austin's eyes and he pushed him down. Chris then came off the top rope with a missile drop kick on Austin and then he pinned him for a two count. Jericho rolled Austin up, and he got a two count, but then Austin rolled Chris Jericho up and he got a three count to eliminate him.

The Rock got right in the ring and he went at it with Austin and The Rock took Austin down with a spinebuster and then Chris Jericho gave The Rock the Break Down and Paul Heyman marked out like never before as Jim Ross called Chris Jericho a son of a b***h! Austin then pinned The Rock, but he only got a two count and Chris Jericho started to head back to the ring to do more damage to The Rock, but the Undertaker stormed out to the arena and pulled Chris by the hair to stop him. The Undertaker then yelled at Chris Jericho on their way back to the locker room. Austin took The Rock down and he gave him a number of right hands and then he stomped away on him. The referee and Austin got in a shoving contest, because Austin wouldn't listen, and then The Rock gave Austin a number of right hands. Austin then tossed The Rock to the outside of the ring and he hit his leg on the announcer's table. Austin slammed The Rock's head into the announcer's table and then he chopped away on him. The Rock knocked Austin onto the table and then he hammered away on him. Austin slammed The Rock into the steel ring post and then he slammed him into the apron.

Austin then slammed The Rock's head into the steel steps and then The rock tossed Austin onto the Spanish announcer's table. The Rock then mounted Austin next to the table and he gave him a number of right hands. The Rock and Austin got back in the ring and Austin took The Rock down and he put The Rock in the Sharpshooter and The Rock was in a lot of pain, but he was able to get to the ropes. Austin then stomped away on The Rock as he was down and then he got out of the ring and he grabbed the WWF Championship belt and brought it into the ring and he went to hit The Rock with it, but The Rock ducked it and then The Rock gave Austin a spinebuster and then the Sharpshooter and Austin clutched to the WWF Title belt as he crawled towards the ropes! Austin got the ropes and the referee tried to break up the hold, but The Rock pulled Austin to the middle of the ring to keep the hold. Austin then got to the ropes again and The Rock was forced to break the hold. Austin then gave The Rock a low blow behind the referee's back and then he went for the stunner, but The Rock blocked it and he gave Austin a stunner of his own! Both men were down for a few moments, and then The Rock pinned Austin for a two count as Nick Patrick showed up and pulled Earl out of the ring.

The Rock got face to face with Nick Patrick and then he went for the Rock Bottom, but Austin nailed him and then Austin gave The Rock the Rock Bottom and then he pinned him, but he only got a two count! Austin got angry and he yelled at the referee and then he gave him a hard right hand to knock him down. Austin then got Earl Hebner back in the ring and then The Rock shoved Austin into Earl and then The Rock went for the Rock Bottom, but Austin blocked it and he gave The Rock the stunner, but there's no referee! Austin pinned The Rock, but he realized that there was no referee and he went to wake him up. Kurt Angle showed up at ringside and he got in the ring and nailed Austin in the head and then The Rock gave Stone Cold the Rock Bottom and then he pinned him for a three count to get the win!

The Aftermath:
The Alliance members were shown in their locker room extremely upset, and Jim Ross bragged in Paul Heyman's face as the Alliance is GONE! Fired! OUT OF HERE! Vince McMahon came out into the arena and he raised his arms in the air, and he's back on top of the world! Austin couldn't believe it as Vince boasted from the stage!

Michael Cole talked about the slap with Stephanie hitting Linda, and all Jerry had to say was "WHAT?" That lead to a "What?" video package, what?

In the arena:
They showed clips of Jerry Lawler's return, and Michael said that he's so glad to have Jerry back. Jerry said it was such a thrill to walk down the aisle and see Paul Heyman dragged out. It's great to be back in the WWF with his family. One of the reasons that he's tickled to be back is because he gets to sit at ringside with Michael and Jim Ross and witness matches like this next one.


Match # 4 - Invasion - July 22, 2001



World Wrestling Federation Hardcore Championship Match
Referee: Jim Kordaris
Rob Van Dam vs. Jeff Hardy (c)
Rob Van Dam's music hit and he made his way to the ring for the Hardcore Title match against Jeff Hardy! Jeff stormed to the ring and went right at it with Van Dam and Van Dam ducked and Jeff went to leg drop him but Van Dam was able to move out of the way. A bunch of attempts at moves by both men but they both missed them. RVD took Jeff Hardy down to the mat with an arm drag and the fans chanted for RVD. Jeff Hardy knocked RVD down and backed him into the corner and gave him some kicks and then he whipped RVD into the other corner and RVD gave him a reverse elbow. RVD whipped Jeff into the corner and Jeff bounced up over RVD and then he gave him a drop kick to the back of the head. Jeff Hardy pinned RVD for a two count and then he whipped RVD off the ropes but RVD countered it and RVD went for a monkey flip but Jeff caught him and gave him a leg drop to the groin. Jeff pinned RVD for a two count. RVD went off the ropes and Jeff Hardy caught him in an inverted atomic drop. RVD dodged a high cross body by Jeff and then he pinned him for a two count. RVD hooked Jeff in a front face, double arm underhook suplex and then he went off the ropes and rolled and gave him a senton.

RVD pinned Jeff Hardy for a two count and then he picked Jeff up and gave him a right hand a kick and then back to the right hands. RVD backed Jeff Hardy into the corner and then RVD went to the other corner and went to the top rope and Jeff Hardy pushed RVD right off the top rope to the outside of the ring. RVD got up and Jeff Hardy gave him a baseball slide to knock him down. Jeff ran the security wall and RVD ran it as well and he knocked Jeff Hardy into the crowd. Both men fell down but RVD landed on the mats at ringside. RVD went after Jeff Hardy in the crowd, and the Hardcore Title is on the line in this one! Jeff Hardy whipped RVD into a wall and then he charged at him and RVD kicked Jeff in the face. RVD then got on the wall and jumped off with a moonsault onto Jeff Hardy. The fans chanted "ECW, ECW!" as RVD pinned Jeff Hardy for a two count. RVD grabbed Jeff Hardy and he brought him back into the ringside area and he hooked him in a front face lock and dropped him onto the security wall. RVD went to the apron with Jeff hanging off the wall and RVD came off the apron with a spinning heel kick to the back of Jeff's head as he was hanging off the security wall!

RVD then pinned Jeff Hardy for a two count and then RVD argued with the referee. RVD rolled Jeff Hardy back into the ring and Jeff hit RVD as he was on the apron. Jeff got a sunset flip on RVD, which power bombed RVD down to the mat on the outside of the ring. Damn, that must have hurt. Jeff Hardy pulled out a ladder and he set it up at ringside and Michael Cole put it over as a 20 foot ladder. Jeff Hardy climbed up the ladder and he got to the top and RVD got in the ring and RVD tried to shake Jeff Hardy down from the ladder and he did just that and Jeff Hardy landed in the aisle way! RVD then went and got a steel chair as Jeff Hardy was in a lot of pain in the aisle way. Jeff Hardy stopped RVD from using the chair and Jeff nailed RVD in the back with it and Jeff was limping badly as he made his way up the ramp with RVD. Jeff took the chair and went to hit it but RVD got up and gave Jeff the Van Daminator off the stage! "Holy s**t!" INDEED. RVD went into the pit area and grabbed Jeff and tossed him back up onto the stage. Jeff crawled on the ramp and RVD gave him a spinning leg drop and a pin for a two count.

RVD grabbed Jeff by the hair and brought him to the ring and he rolled him back into the ring. RVD got Jeff Hardy in the corner and then he put the chair against Jeff's face and kicked it into his face. RVD then went to the top rope and he came off with a moonsault but Jeff got his knees up. Jeff got a DDT on RVD and then he pinned him for a two count! Jeff pinned RVD once again, but he only got a two count! Jeff gave RVD a suplex and then he pinned him for a two count and then Jeff Hardy went to go to the top rope but RVD stopped him. Jeff Hardy gave RVD a chin breaker and then he went to the top rope and came off with the swanton bomb but RVD was able to move out of the way! RVD put the Hardcore Title on Jeff Hardy's chest and then he went to the top rope and came off with the Five Star Frog Splash! RVD rolled over and pinned Jeff Hardy for a three count to win the WWF Hardcore Championship! Damnit, he deserves it!

The Rock was shown on the phone, and he wished the person on the phone a Happy New Year. The Rock realized that the camera was there, and he asked what they were doing there, and then he realized what it was for. The Rock's music hit, and he brought us to the top five put downs of 2001. The Rock told the tech guy to get on the show, and he was wearing a WCW shirt, and The Rock made fun of him. The Rock was the one who put WCW to rest. Take that shirt off. The guy took the shirt off, and then The Rock told him to put it back on, because he didn't like what he saw. Best put downs. 2001!

Stone Cold Steve Austin's music hit and he made his way to the ring for the Championship match! It's crunch time. This is what it's all about in the World Wrestling Federation. Austin has always said, if you're not in the WWF to win the WWF Title, then you shouldn't be in the WWF at all. The fans went nuts for both men and the match started off, not wasting any time with right hands! Austin went to use the WWF Title on The Rock, and this match is no disqualification! Austin whipped The Rock off the ropes and Austin hit the Lou Thesz Press on The Rock. Austin then hit The Rock with an elbow and then another one. The Rock hit a swinging neck breaker on Austin and The Rock went for the Rock Bottom, but couldn't get it on and Austin went for the stunner, but couldn't hit it. Austin then tossed The Rock over the top rope to the outside of the ring. Austin and The Rock battled in front of the announcer's tables and then they battled into the crowd, in front of the fans! The Rock gave Austin some right hands as he was sitting on a chair and then The Rock tossed Austin back into the ringside area.

The Rock then slammed Austin's head off the announcer's table, and then again! Austin gave The Rock a clothesline to the head and then he used his knee brace to rake the eyes of The Rock. Austin rolled The Rock into the ring and Austin kicked away on The Rock as he was down on the mat. Austin choked The Rock over the second rope and then he jumped on him as he was hanging over the second rope. Austin pinned The Rock for a two count and then he perched Austin on the top rope. Austin hooked The Rock in a super plex and both men were down on the mat as a result. Austin pinned The Rock and got a near fall and then Austin went over to the turnbuckle and exposed the turnbuckle! The Rock battled back with some right hands and then he hit a jumping clothesline on Austin. The Rock whipped Austin off the ropes and he got an over the head belly to belly. The Rock pinned Austin for a two count and then Austin went to the ropes and The Rock knocked him to the outside of the ring. The Rock slammed Austin's head into the announcer's table and then he went over and slammed him into the time keeper's table.

Austin got the ring bell and nailed The Rock with it and the referee asked him what he was doing and he got in his face, but no one can be disqualified in this one! Austin tossed the time keeper down and then he continued to argue with Earl Hebner. The Rock was busted open as a result of the ring bell and then Austin continued to give The Rock some right hands. Austin slammed The Rock into the announcer's table and then The Rock leaned on the announcer's table and the table broke with him falling into it. Austin gave The Rock a right hand and then another right hand, rolling him back into the ring. "I'm gonna watch the Tron, I got no other choice!" - Paul Heyman. Austin then gave The Rock some more right hands in the ring and then he knocked him down and gave him some right hands to the head! Austin choked The Rock and there's nothing the referee can do about it! Austin picked The Rock up by the "hair" as Jim Ross said and then The Rock fought back with some right hands and the fans booed the hell out of him! Austin got a neck breaker on The Rock and then he pinned him for a two count!

Austin gave The Rock some right hands as he was mounted on him, and the fans counted along. Austin kicked The Rock in the corner as he was down and almost defenseless. The referee got Austin out of the corner and then Austin went back to work on The Rock with kicks. Earl tried to get Austin off of The Rock as he choked away on him. Austin yelled at the referee and then The Rock fired out of the corner with a huge clothesline on Stone Cold and the fans booed the hell out of him! The Rock picked Austin up and then Austin gave him a knee to the mid section and then Austin gave him a right hand. The Rock fired back with some right hands on Austin and he got booed right out of the arena! The Rock slammed Austin's head into the turnbuckle and then he got out of the ring and got the ring bell. The Rock nailed Austin with the ring bell, and once again, booed. The Rock pinned Austin for a two count and the fans went nuts as Austin kicked out of the pin! Austin was busted open as a result of the ring bell much like The Rock earlier and then Austin got up and The Rock hit him with some right hands.

The Rock knocked Austin down and Austin kept getting up! The Rock gave Austin a right hand every chance he could and Austin fell down in the corner. The Rock got out of the ring and he gave Austin a shot across the chest as Austin was hanging off the apron. The Rock went to slam Austin into the security wall, but Austin blocked it and fired back with some shots to the mid section. Austin then gave The Rock some right hands and then an elbow to the head. Austin picked The Rock up and slammed him on the security wall. Austin grabbed The Rock's feet and he gave him a sling shot into the ring post! Austin knocked The Rock in front of the announcer's and he used a monitor on The Rock, hitting him in the head. Austin got The Rock back in the ring and he pinned him for a two count! Austin gave The Rock the fingers and the fans went nuts and Austin went for the stunner but The Rock hit Austin with a hard right hand. The Rock put the Sharpshooter on Stone Cold Steve Austin and both men were bloodied up and Jim Ross mentioned "Shades of Bret Hart and Austin in Wrestlemania past!" Austin tried to get to the ropes and The Rock pulled Austin towards the middle of the ring and then Austin finally got to the bottom rope.

The Rock went for the Sharpshooter again, and he gave Austin the finger, but Austin was able to get out of it. Austin then got up and gave The Rock the Sharpshooter! The Rock, being blinded by his own blood, did all he could to get to the ropes, but he couldn't. He did power out of it and then Austin pulled The Rock by the knee and slammed it into the mat. Stone Cold kicked The Rock in the gut and then he went for the Sharpshooter again and The Rock was close enough to the ropes to grab them. The fans booed as The Rock got the ropes and the referee tried to break the hold and Austin gave the referee the finger to a huge pop! Austin broke the hold and then he kicked The Rock in the face. Austin put the Million Dollar Dream on The Rock and he was taught that move by Ted Dibiase when he was the Ringmaster! Austin locked it in and The Rock was fading. The referee was there to see if The Rock was still in this, and he raised his arm twice, and when it came to the third, The Rock was still in this. The Rock sprang off the ropes and he pinned Austin much like Bret did at the Survivor Series in 1996, but Austin was able to kick out this time around!

Austin gave The Rock a hard right hand and then he hit him with more right hands. The Rock kicked Austin in the gut ands then he hit the Stone Cold Stunner and the fans popped it at first, but then they realized that it was The Rock who hit the stunner and booed it! The Rock pinned Stone Cold Steve Austin for a two count! Vince McMahon then made his way to the ringside area and the fans booed the hell outta him. The fans chanted "A*****e, asshole!" and Vince went over and stood at ringside. Austin hit The Rock with a spinebuster and then he pinned him for a two count. Austin got up and The Rock hit a spinebuster on Austin! The Rock then went for the people's elbow on Austin and the fans popped for it! The Rock hit the people's elbow and then he pinned Austin for a two count as Vince McMahon got in the ring and broke up the pin! What the hell did he do that for?! What the hell is going on?! Vince quickly got out of the ring and then The Rock looked at Vince McMahon with a look of anger and then he went after him and chased him around the ring and back into the ring. Austin hit the Rock Bottom on The Rock when he got back in the ring and then he pinned him for a two count!

Austin picked The Rock up and he kicked him in the gut and went for the stunner, but The Rock shoved Austin and Earl was hit and he fell down to the floor. Austin gave The Rock a low blow and then Austin told Vince McMahon to get a chair? Austin told Vince to get in the ring and Austin told Vince to knock the mother f***er down. Austin held up The Rock and then Vince swung the chair and he hit The Rock with it! Austin then pinned The Rock, but the referee was down and Vince went over to wake the referee up. The referee counted a two count and Austin couldn't believe it! "Shit, s**t!" - Austin. Vince gave Austin the chair and then Austin gave The Rock the finger and then he went to hit The Rock, but The Rock hit the Rock Bottom on Stone Cold! Vince got on the apron and argued with the referee and then The Rock pulled Vince into the ring! The Rock beat up on Vince McMahon and then Austin hit the Stunner on The Rock and he pinned him for a two count and somehow The Rock kicked out of the stunner! Austin then took the chair from Vince McMahon and Austin hit The Rock square in the face with the chair. Austin then pinned The Rock for another TWO COUNT!

Vince and Austin looked at each other, seemingly on the same page. Austin then took the steel chair and he rammed into the chest of The Rock. Austin beat the living hell out of The Rock with the steel chair and he has snapped! Austin then pinned The Rock for a three count to win the World Wrestling Federation Championship for the fifth time!

The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian vs. the Dudley Boyz (c)
It's time for the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match! The belts were shown hanging high above the ring and this is a scary situation. The Hardy Boyz made their way to the ring and then Edge and Christian came out next. The Tag Team Champions in this match are the Dudley Boyz and this is fixing to be one hell of a contest. The Dudleys came out and all three teams went at it to start it off! Buh Buh and Christian went at it and D-Von assisted Buh Buh in beating on Christian. The Dudleys gave Christian a double team flap jack and then Matt and Jeff went after the Dudley Boyz. Matt raked the eyes of D-Von and Jeff went at it with Buh Buh. The Hardy Boyz whipped Buh Buh into the corner and then they whipped D-Von into him and they gave him the Poetry in Motion. Edge and Christian got in the ring with a ladder and they nailed the Hardy Boyz and then the Dudley Boyz. Edge and Christian got Matt Hardy upside down in the corner and then they stepped on his legs on the ropes. The Dudleys then puled Christian to the outside of the ring and then Edge set up a ladder in the middle of the ring and started to climb up.

Matt Hardy stopped Edge and then he set up the ladder and started going up. Edge jumped on the chair and jumped off it, giving Matt a clothesline to knock him down. Jeff Hardy took down Edge in the ring and referee Mike Sparks was there to check on Edge. The Hardys gave Buh Buh a baseball slide as he had a ladder and Buh Buh almost fell into the crowd. Matt and Jeff set up two ladders in the ring, in the corners and Matt gave Christian a body slam and then both Matt and Jeff climbed their respective ladders and they both came off with a leg drop and a big splash on Christian. The Dudleys got back in the ring and tossed the Hardys out of the ring and Buh Buh set up the ladder in the corner and then he gave Edge a body slam. D-Von went to the top rope and came off with a head butt to Edge's groin! Buh Buh then called for the tables and D-Von got a table from the outside of the ring and Buh Buh got a table in the ring as well. The Dudleys set up the tables in the ring, one against the corner and one in the center of the ring. Jeff got in the ring and went at it with Buh Buh and Buh Buh power bombed Jeff Hardy through Edge on a table!

The Hardys, Edge and Christian were all down and then the Dudley Boyz set up tables on the outside of the ring. Four of them! Matt got a ladder and put it in the ring and with the four tables set up, Christian and Matt set up ladders. With three ladders set up in the center of the ring, all three teams started climbing them and Jeff battled with D-Von on one, Buh Buh and Edge on the other and Christian and Matt on the other. Matt and Christian fell to the outside of the ring and then D-Von and Jeff fell down on the ropes and then Edge and Buh Buh knocked each other down! Christian's fall to the outside was pretty scary. Edge set up a ladder in the middle of the ring and then Buh Buh tossed a ladder to the outside of the ring. Spike Dudley made his way out to the ring as Edge started to climb the ladder. Spike gave Edge a bulldog and then Christian a bulldog through the table from the apron! "ECW, ECW!" from the fans. Jeff Hardy set up a ladder in the middle of the ring and Rhyno came to the ring and stopped Jeff from climbing the ladder.

Rhyno speared Buh Buh and then Matt through a table. Rhyno then set up a ladder in the middle of the ring and he told Edge to climb up, and that he started to do. Buh Buh was able to stop Edge and then Lita came running out to the ring and she pulled Edge down and slammed his head into the ladder. Rhyno grabbed Lita and pressed her, but Spike gave him a low blow to stop him from doing anything. Lita them came off the top rope with the hurricanrana on Rhyno! Edge got to the top of the ladder and Spike Dudley hit Rhyno in the head, and that knocked Edge down onto the top rope. The Dudleys then gave Rhyno the "Dudleyville Device" as Paul said. Lita then hit Spike with a chair and then she took her shirt off. The Dudley Boyz then gave Lita the Dudley Death Drop! Edge and Christian got in the ring with chairs and knocked the Dudley Boyz down with them. Ladders were set up in the ring and Jeff Hardy pulled out a huge ladder and set it up on the outside of the ring and he climbed the ladder on the outside of the ring and he jumped off onto Spike Dudley and Rhyno with the swanton bomb through the table!

Edge got the huge ladder in the ring and then Christian got in the ring to help him and D-Von and Christian climbed up and tried to get the belts, but Matt moved the ladder, leaving them hanging. D-Von fell down and Christian hung up and he eventually fell down. Jeff Hardy climbed up one of the four ladders set up in the ring and he walked the ladders and he fell, but he caught himself on the third, but fell down, and landed on his feet on the mat. Jeff then climbed up the ladder and tried to grab the belts, but he lost his balance and got stuck on the thing. Buh Buh took the ladder out from under Jeff's feet and then Edge climbed a ladder and speared Jeff Hardy right off the belts that were hanging! Buh Buh and Matt climbed up and Rhyno pushed them both down through the four tables that were set up earlier! Holy s**t! Jesus Christ! D-Von then started to climb the ladder and Edge came up from behind. Rhyno helped Christian up and Christian got the belt to get the win!

Triple H's music hit and he made his way to the ring for the 2 out of 3 falls, stipulation match! Austin's music hit and he sprinted to the ring and went at it with Triple H! The two went at it and Austin whipped Triple H off the ropes and he gave him a reverse elbow to knock him down. Austin gave Triple H some right hands and then he backed him into the corner and kicked away on him. Triple H whipped Austin into the corner and then Austin fired out of the corner with a huge clothesline. The fans chanted for Austin and Austin gave Triple H some right hands in the corner. Triple H got out of it and then Austin gave Triple H a clothesline down to the mat. Triple H started to bail out of the ring, but Austin stopped him. Austin whipped Triple H off the ropes and he went for the Lou Thesz Press, but Triple H gave Austin a hot shot.

Austin then took Triple H down with an arm breaker when Triple H went for the Pedigree. Triple H bailed to the outside of the ring and Austin went right after him and he slammed Triple H into the ring steps, and then he slammed his arm into the ring post. Austin rolled Triple H back into the ring and then Triple H gave Austin a kick to the gut and then he went for the Pedigree, but his left arm was bothering him. Austin went to work on the arm and he wrenched and yanked away on it. Austin continued to twist away on the arm of Triple H and the referee was there to ask Triple H if he wanted to give up. Of course, Triple H didn't give up. Austin got the Lou Thesz Press on Triple H and then he nailed him with a number of right hands. Austin pinned Triple H for a two count and then Austin gave Triple H a hard right hand. Austin whipped Triple H off the ropes and he gave Triple H a spinebuster to take him down.

Austin went to the second rope and he jumped off, but Triple H kicked Austin in the chin to knock him down. Triple H then got Austin in a swinging neck breaker down to the mat and the fans chanted for Austin. Triple H got up and gave Austin a neck breaker and then he gave Austin a knee to the back of the neck. Triple H kicked away on Austin and then he gave Austin a shot to the head. Triple H gave Austin a shot to the back of the leg to take Austin down and then he pulled him to the corner and slammed Austin's leg into the ring post. Triple H continued to work on Austin's leg and then Austin limped across the ring and Triple H got back in the ring and gave Austin a chop block to knock him down. Triple H gave Austin an elbow drop to the inner leg and then Austin tried to fight back, but Triple H kicked Austin in the knee to knock him down.

Triple H got Austin in a figure four leg lock and the referee was there to ask Austin if he was still in the match. Austin tried to get to the ropes, but he was unable to do so, and then he tried to counter the figure four, and he rolled to his stomach and did just that. Triple H got to the ropes and then the referee broke the hold. Triple H gave Austin an elbow drop to the back of the head and then he gave Austin a kick to the knee. Triple H gave Austin an elbow to the inner knee, working on the left leg. Austin fought back and he slammed Triple H's head into the turnbuckle 11 times! Austin whipped Triple H off the ropes and then Austin went for a clothesline, but he got Triple H in the Lou Thesz Press again, and then he hit some right hands. Austin gave Triple H an elbow to the chest and then he pinned him for a two count.

Austin whipped Triple H off the ropes and Austin went to kick him for the stunner, but Triple H caught his foot. Austin then gave Triple H a clothesline down to the mat and as Triple H got up, Austin was ready for the stunner, and he went for it, but Triple H shoved Austin into the corner. Triple H then gave Austin a neck breaker down to the mat and then he pinned him for a two count. Austin went for the stunner again, but Triple H got out of it and rolled up Austin for a two count and Austin countered and rolled Triple H up for a two count. Austin then gave Triple H a number of right hands in the corner and then Triple H gave Austin a low blow. Austin then kicked Triple H in the gut and he got the stunner on Triple H and then he pinned him for a three count to get the win!

Austin and Triple H then continued to go at it, in fall two. Austin and Triple H fought to the outside of the ring where Austin gave Triple H a suplex on the steel ramp. Austin and Triple H fought back to the other side of the ring and Austin nailed Triple H with a monitor and then he tossed two chairs into the ring. Austin grabbed the chair from the time keeper and he tossed it into the ring and Triple H tried to get out of here, through the crowd. Austin went after Triple H in the crowd and he caught up with him and the two battled in the crowd! Austin brought Triple H back to the ring, and Triple H got in the ring and tried to hit Austin with a chair, but Austin dodged it and then Austin nailed Triple H with a steel chair. Austin continued to hammer away on Triple H with the steel chair, on the leg, shades of Summer Slam 1999!

Austin hammered Triple H with the chair every where he could and then he jammed the chair right into the chest. Austin pinned Triple H for a two count, and somehow Triple H was able to kick out of the pin. Austin and Triple H battled back to the outside of the ring and Austin gave Triple H a number of right hands. Austin got a two by four out of no where, and it was wrapped in barbed wire! Austin went to use it, but Triple H avoided it by kicking Austin in the mid section. Triple H got it, and the fans chanted for Foley as Triple H used the barbed wire on Austin. Austin was busted opened as a result of that and then Triple H gave Austin a hard right hand and Austin fell right onto the announcer's table. Triple H then took the top off the announcer's table and got it ready for some type of move on the table.

Triple H gave Austin a hard right hand and then he gave Austin some hard right hands, on the table. Triple H went for the Pedigree on the announcer's table, but Austin back body dropped him from one table to the other! The referee checked on Triple H as he was down and out, and Austin was bleeding severely. Austin grabbed a beer can and he smashed it right across the face of Triple H. Austin then gave Triple H a number of right hands, on the broken announcer's table, and the referee got in Austin's face, and Austin told him to get the f*** out of here! He said it! Austin rolled Triple H into the ring and then Triple H nailed Austin with the ring bell, in the head. Austin, a bloody mess, was down on the mat and Triple H got over and he pinned Austin for a two count!

Triple H gave Austin a neck breaker on the chair, and Austin was holding his head and then Triple H pinned Austin for another two count. Triple H then gave Austin yet another neck breaker on the chair and then he pinned him again for a two count! Triple H pinned Austin again, and Austin refuses to stay down for a count of 3. Austin got Triple H in a sleeper hold and then Triple H reversed it into a back suplex on the steel chair, and Triple H pinned Austin for yet another two count! Triple H couldn't believe that Austin kicked out of that and then Triple H went for the Pedigree, but Austin back body dropped Triple H to the outside of the ring. Austin went after Triple H on the outside of the ring and the two went at it. Austin grabbed a steel chair and he nailed Triple H right across the head with it!

Austin picked up the steel steps and then he rammed it into the head of the Game. Triple H was able to gain control of Austin, and he slammed his head into the steel steps. Austin tried to fight back, but Triple H slammed his head into the steel steps. Triple H got a sledge hammer out from under the announcer's table and Lawler blamed Ross, for putting it under there for Austin. Triple H went to use the sledge hammer, but Austin gave Triple H a shot to the gut to stop him from using it. Austin then rolled Triple H into the ring and then Austin got the sledge hammer and brought it into the ring. Austin stomped away on a bloody Triple H in the corner and then Triple H came out of the corner with a knee to the mid section, and Triple H went to hit Austin with the sledge hammer, but Austin went for the stunner, but Triple H got out of it and used the sledge hammer on Austin's head. Triple H then picked Austin up and gave him the Pedigree down to the mat, followed by a pin for a three count to get the win!

Fall 3: Steel Cage
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Triple H
The cage then lowered to the ring as Austin was down on the mat, and Triple H got up and the bell rang. Triple H went for a right hand, but Austin fought back with everything he had. Triple H then slammed Austin's head into the steel support beams that were holding the cage. Triple H then hammered away on Austin as the fans chanted for Austin. Triple H hammered away on Austin and then he picked up the two by four with the barbed wire and he raked it across Austin's face! Austin nailed Triple H in the head with a steel chair to get out of it. Austin then grabbed the barbed wire and he raked Triple H in the face with it! Austin pinned Triple H for a two count and then he went back to raking the barbed wire across the head and face of Triple H.

Triple H rammed Austin's head into the steel chair with a DDT and both men were down on the mat, worn out. The referee checked on them, and then the fans started an Austin chant. Triple H pinned Austin for a two count. Both men got to their feet, using the ropes and Austin kicked Triple H a number of times and then he gave him some hard right hands. Austin pinned Triple H for a two count and then Triple H tried to get out of the cage and Jim Ross said that you can't win by escaping. Austin followed Triple H up the cage and the two slammed each other's heads into the steel cage. Austin then fell down and straddled the top rope and Triple H stood on the top rope,

Street Fight
Shane McMahon vs. Kurt Angle
Shane McMahon's music hit in the arena and he made his way to the ring for his street fight against Kurt Angle! Kurt Angle's music hit and he made his way out to the arena and he got in the ring and speared Shane McMahon and then he took him down with some amateur wrestling holds. Shane gave Kurt some reverse elbows and he took Kurt down, but Kurt rolled through, keeping control. Kurt Angle got a suplex on Shane McMahon and then he kicked away on Shane McMahon as he was down on the mat. Kurt gave Shane a knee to the mid section and then another one, to knock him down. Kurt gave Shane a number of knees to the mid section and Shane caught his leg and gave Kurt some right hands and then Shane took Kurt down by the legs. Shane bailed out of the ring and Kurt seemed angry as the referee told Shane to get back in the ring. Kurt Angle was busted open as the referee started counting Shane. Kurt got on his hands and knees and challenged Shane to some amateur wrestling. Kurt got control of Shane and hammered away on Shane's back as he was down on the mat. Kurt gave Shane a gut wrench suplex and then Kurt got Shane in an over the head, belly to belly suplex. Kurt gave Shane another suplex and then he gave Shane some forearms to the back of the head as he hovered over Shane.

Kurt rolled Shane McMahon up and Shane countered and Kurt taunted Shane with some amateur maneuver. Kurt told Shane that there's no way he's in his league. Shane choked Kurt for a second but Kurt slapped him. Kurt challenged Shane McMahon to some more amateur wrestling in the middle of the ring and Shane gained control and he kicked Kurt in the ribs and a number of right hands. Shane whipped Kurt off the ropes and gave him a reverse elbow and then a clothesline down to the mat. Kurt got Shane McMahon in a waist lock take down and then Shane gave Kurt some elbows to the head and Shane ran around the ring and knocked Kurt Angle to the outside of the ring. Kurt got in the ring and went after Shane and Shane ran around the ring. Kurt went after him and Shane jumped on the security wall and jumped off at Kurt with some sort of shoulder block. Shane McMahon got on the security wall behind the announcer's table and he jumped off with a clothesline on Kurt Angle to knock him down. Shane got a kendo stick and that's as legal as a head lock! No Disqualifications. Shane McMahon nailed Kurt Angle with the kendo stick a number of times and then Kurt drove Shane's back into the ring apron. Shane knocked Kurt into the ring post and then Shane knocked Kurt into the crowd. Kurt came back and Shane gave Kurt some right hands and then he drove Kurt into the ring apron.

Shane gave Kurt Angle an arm drag into the security wall and then again! Shane slammed Kurt Angle's head into the steel steps and then he speared Kurt and Kurt fell into the steel steps. Shane rolled Kurt Angle into the ring and he pinned him for a two count as Kurt bridged out of it. Shane hit Kurt in the gut and pinned him for another two count and Shane gave Kurt another shot to the stomach and another pin. Shane went under the ring and got some weapons out and brought them into the ring. Shane got in the ring and hit Kurt Angle a number of times with a road sign and then he whipped Kurt off the ropes and hit him with a jumping shot to the head. Shane pinned Kurt Angle but he only got a two count as Kurt rolled out of it and gave Shane a number of shots to the back of the head. Kurt went for an Enziguri and Shane ducked and Shane got the ankle lock on Kurt, but Kurt kicked Shane right in the face to get out of it. Kurt went to splash Shane in the corner but Shane hit the "Laying the Smackdown!" DDT on Kurt Angle! Shane then went for the Sharpshooter and he messed it up, but he did get it on Kurt Angle. Kurt was able to get to the ropes and Shane dragged Kurt Angle back to the middle of the ring. Kurt got the kendo stick and he slapped Shane in the butt with it. Shane McMahon crawled over to the garbage can he tossed into the ring earlier.

He got up and Kurt had the kendo stick in his hand and he went to hit Shane but Shane jumped it then ducked it and Shane hit some left hands on Kurt Angle. Shane knocked Kurt Angle down with a hard right hand and then he pinned him for a two count. Shane got the trash can and he nailed Kurt Angle in the head with it and then in the stomach. Shane placed the trash can on Kurt Angle and the he looked to the corner and he went to the ring apron and went to the top rope and he came off with a shooting star press, but Kurt Angle moved out of the way and Shane hit the trash can! "Holy sh|t, Holy sh|t!" from the fans. Kurt pinned Shane McMahon, but he only got a two count. Kurt took Shane down with a fireman carry take down and then he picked Shane up and gave him another fireman carry, right to the arena floor. Kurt Angle gave Shane McMahon an over the head belly to belly suplex against the KOTR Wall and Shane's head hit the ground. Damn, damn, damn. That must have heard. Kurt Angle did it once again and the wall broke as it was glass! Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle were both busted opened as a result, and the fans chanted "Holy s**t, Holy s**t!" Kurt gave Shane yet ANOTHER belly to belly, over the head suplex into the King of the Ring wall. And ANOTHER as the fans chanted "One more time, one more time!" Kurt then slammed Shane McMahon through the thing one more time, and the plastic / glass broke! Kurt wanted to pin Shane, but the pin must be in the ring. Kurt tried to drag Shane, and he slipped and fell down to the ground. Kurt got an anvil case and he put Shane on top of it and started rolling him back to the ring.

Kurt rolled Shane McMahon back into the ring and he pinned him, but he only got a two count! The fans popped loudly as Shane McMahon kicked out of the pin. Kurt Angle couldn't believe the fact that Shane McMahon kicked out of the pin and he got a trash can lid and picked Shane up and went to hit Shane, but Shane gave Kurt Angle a low blow! Shane nailed Kurt with the trash can lid and then he nailed him right in the head and the face with it. Shane McMahon gave Kurt Angle the Angle Slam, but he couldn't get over and pin Kurt. Shane eventually got over and pinned Kurt Angle, but he only got a two count. Kurt Angle went for the ankle lock but Shane kicked out of it and Kurt got Shane in a sling shot into the corner and Shane was stuck on the ropes as Kurt Angle's back was seemingly in a lot of pain. Kurt Angle gave Shane some hard blows to the spine as he was on the top rope and he got a board and nailed Shane in the back with it a couple of times. Kurt set up the board on the top rope and he climbed onto it and used it as a floor on the top rope and Kurt Angle gave Shane McMahon the Angle Slam from the very top rope! Oh my God! "Holy s**t, Holy s**t!" from the fans, once again! Kurt Angle crawled over and pinned Shane McMahon for a three count to get the win!

WWF Flashback:
September 13, 200|. The WWF Superstars were lined up on the stage for the National Anthem, sang by the WWF's own Lilian Garcia. This was just two days after the terrorist attacks on America.

Jim Ross and Paul Heyman were at ringside for tonight's event and the World Wrestling Federation and Alliance Superstars made their way out into the arena. The Superstars all lined up and filled up the ramp and staging area as some of them looked to be very emotional going into tonight's show. Howard Finkel asked everyone to rise for the singing of our National Anthem. Lilian Garcia sang the National Anthem from the ring and everyone in that arena was on their feet. After Lilian finished, the fans all chanted "USA, USA!" and Jim Ross said that it's been an emotional night and week for all Americans, and they'll be back, with action. Right after this time out. For the record, the wrestlers who came out on the stage was just about everyone under contract to WWFE. I don't know if the Undertaker was there or not, but he might be out with the injury. Stone Cold, The Rock, Booker T, The Big Show, Chuck Palumbo, Kane were all there.

In the arena:
Michael said it was an emotional moment for the WWF, and that took place just a couple of days removed from the terrible tragedy. Jerry said that President Bush stated that everyone should go on with business as usual, and that's what the WWF did. Speaking of entertaining fans, this next match is an entertaining one.

Match # 9: Wrestlemania X-7 - April 1, 200|



Triple H vs. the Undertaker
Motorhead was live in the arena to play Triple H's theme and they did a damn good job in their live performance! Just keep rollin', rollin', rollin'! The Undertaker's music hit and he made his way to the ring next! This is fixing to be one hell of a fight! The Undertaker stormed to the ringside area, riding his motorcycle. The Undertaker went right at it with Triple H at ringside, brawling. The Undertaker slammed Triple H's head into the Spanish announce table, who were using a table from the TLC match, due to the fact that their other table was destroyed. The Undertaker knocked Triple H through the table and then he rolled him into the ring to officially start it off. Triple H whipped the Undertaker off the ropes and gave him a high knee and the Undertaker just got right back up! The Undertaker gave Triple H some rights and then a whip off the ropes and a high back body drop. The Undertaker clotheslined Triple H in the corner and then he whipped him into the other corner and clotheslined him. The Undertaker scooped Triple H up on his shoulder and he gave him a power slam.

The Undertaker went for an elbow drop, but Triple H was able to dodge it. The Undertaker nailed Triple H with a jumping clothesline and then he twisted Triple H's arm and knocked Triple H down. The Undertaker yelled "Old School" and then he got ready to walk the ropes, but Triple H pulled the Undertaker down. The Undertaker got up and went for a clothesline, but Triple H got a neck breaker on the Undertaker. Triple H gave the Undertaker a number of right hands and then he went to the apron as the Undertaker hung over the second rope and Triple H gave the Undertaker an elbow to the back of the head. Triple H gave the Undertaker a shot to the chest as referee Mike Chioda begged for Triple H to get it back in the ring. Triple H got back in the ring and he gave the Undertaker a neck breaker and then a pin for a two count. Another pin, another tow count. Yet another pin, and yet another two count. Triple H shoved the referee into the corner and then the referee shoved Triple H back! Triple H argued with the referee and then the Undertaker gave Triple H some shots to the mid section.

Triple H got the face buster on the Undertaker and then he got out of the ring and got a sledge hammer from the time keeper's table! Triple H brought it into the ring and the referee tried to tell him to put it down and Triple H shoved the referee. Triple H went to use it on the Undertaker, but the referee yanked it from him. Triple H then got in the referee's face and the Undertaker came up from behind. Triple H kicked The Undertaker in the gut and went for the Pedigree, but he couldn't get it on. The Undertaker then gave Triple H a sling shot right into the referee. The Undertaker gave Triple H a choke slam and then he pinned him for a two count! The Undertaker then attacked the referee and then he went back to work on Triple H. Triple H got tossed right over the top rope to the outside of the ring and the Undertaker followed him out. Triple H slammed the Undertaker into the steel steps and then the Undertaker gave Triple H a back body drop into the crowd! The Undertaker went into the crowd with Triple H and the two battled in the aisle in a sea of fans!

The two battled into the tech area and Triple H climbed up and the Undertaker followed him and gave him some hard right hands. The Undertaker tossed Triple H onto the next level of the tech area. The Undertaker climbed up with him and then Triple H nailed the Undertaker with a steel chair. Triple H hit the Undertaker once again and then he hit him in the bum with it and then the legs and head and arms! The Undertaker got back up and Triple H went to hit him again and the Undertaker stopped him with a choke. The Undertaker then choke slammed Triple H off the tower and the fans chanted "Holy s**t, Holy sh|t!" An EMT came out to assist Triple H and the Undertaker climbed up on the structure and jumped off with an elbow drop on Triple H! The EMTs tried to help Triple H, but the Undertaker assaulted them and then he went back to work on Triple H! The Undertaker gave Triple H a hard right hand and they were in the crowd! Triple H and the Undertaker battled through the crowd with security helping them through and then the Undertaker gave Triple H a hip lock back into the ringside area.

The Undertaker brought Triple H back into the ring and then the Undertaker got the sledge hammer and picked it up, ready to use it on Triple H. Triple H begged it off and the fans were going nuts in favor of the Undertaker to smash Triple H's head in! The Undertaker got ready to hit him and Triple H gave him a low blow to stop it. Triple H then got the sledge hammer as the Undertaker was in pain and then Triple H ran at the Undertaker with the sledge hammer, but the Undertaker got a big boot on Triple H. The Undertaker then gave Triple H a right hand and then Triple H battled back with a right hand of his own. The two exchanged right hands and the Undertaker eventually got the better of it. Triple H kicked the Undertaker in the gut and then he went back to the right hands. Triple H got the Undertaker in a tombstone position and he went for the tombstone, but the Undertaker countered it and gave Triple H the tombstone piledriver! The Undertaker tried to pin Triple H, but the referee was still out. The Undertaker then signaled for the Last Ride.

The Undertaker went for the Last Ride on Triple H, but Triple H brought the sledge hammer up for the ride with him, and Triple H nailed The Undertaker with it to get out of the Last Ride. Triple H then pinned the Undertaker, but he only got a two count! Triple H gave the Undertaker some right hands and he perched himself up in the corner and gave him some right hands and the Undertaker picked Triple H up and gave him the Last Ride! The Undertaker then pinned Triple H for a three count to get the win! 9 and 0 at Wrestlemanias!
