Jim Ross is in charge of WWF Talent Relations. It is his job to hire and fire wrestlers, negotiate contracts and deal with various other talent related issues. However, Vince McMahon does ultimately make the decisions on who is hired and fired.
Triple H is currently suffering from a cracked kneecap but he should not miss any ring time.
The wrestlers do have some input into their name and character, but it is ultimately up to the WWF creative team to decide what they will be called and how they will be presented on TV.
The last PPV to be held at Madison Square Garden was Royal Rumble 2000.
Steve Blackman first competed in the WWF in 1991 as a jobber. He only stayed for a short time though because he developed severe Malaria while in Africa. It took Steve 3 years to make a full recovery. He returned to the WWF in 1997 and has been there ever since, although he has been out injured as of late.
