Here's a little bit of info about the Midland Group:

The Midland Group, founded in 1994, is active in a wide variety of industries including commodities trading, steel manufacturing, transportation, construction and agriculture.

They had announced that they wanted to form an F1 team in October 04 and get on the grid by 2006. Buying a team out means they don't have to fork out $49 million for being a new team and they get their hands on TV revenue straight away instead of waiting until 2008.

F1 still needs a couple/3 more teams, in my opinion.

Who the flip are Midland F1 anyway? I've never heard of them. I guess much will depend upon whether they have a color-based corporate identity.

I just hope Midland F1 (the new Jordan owners) continue to use the yellow colour. Other than the red of Ferrari, it stands out. Sometimes the sponsors have a say on the team colour.

Jordan were a great team having fun, although it's been tough for them the past couple of seasons. I've been round their factory. Cozy but nice.

Probably for this season, then it will be whatever the new owners decide.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
