Well, they are... and it's not just games.
Look at the Wave Bird Controller... Oh how i'm gonna have so much fun changing to my brothers frequency and crashing him into a wall or jumping him off a cliff!
And what about the graphics in Luigi's Mansion - Top stuff! It takes guts to go all out are try to make a top quality game.... with the ever increasing pressure building up on developers for fancy graphics to accompany the games' varied gameplay, some developers can't 'cut it'... but Shigsy's blade is sharper than a proffessor in play school -he is the man.
And I know how you PS2 and X-Box boys and Bonus complain saying... "Oh, Shigsy is the only decent guy there!..."
Wrong! Rare are there too and they're Nintendo through and through - in fact Nintendo OWN Rare.
Also, look at the Gamecube.... hardly well endowed with fancy features and trimings! But was Arnold Schzwzazrzzzeznzeggzezr? No, he's an ugly git, but still, he's kick many peoples butt's over the years! The Gamecube is just a MONSTER! biding his time until.. Bam!! He eats the defenseless victim, like a cat does to a mouse on Mrs Tipkiptonson's patio!
Nintendo is the epitome of Innovation... sure Sony have GT2.5 and Red Faction, but racing in a car and blowing up stuff is hardly anything new!
Ever controlled flower thingys to find parts of your GT3 car? No, but Nintendo fans will get to control flower thingys to find their spaceship! Spaceships are much better than cars anyway... I mean Apollo 13... could be a car! Was it? No! Button Moon... they could have had a car-like buggy! Did they? No! A spaceship!
And what's this.. The Bouncer.... the only thing that game did was bounce itself out of the charts! SSB: Melee will show the world how a side-scrolling beat 'em up should play!
And don't think for ONE SECOND that the PS2 has an alternative for StarFox Adventures -that will be the best game of 2002 without a doubt, unless Perfect dark 2 (RThe MGS2 beater!) comes out!
You see Nintendo are all about bringing imagination to life... Sony are all about putting JoKES on CD's and pawning them off as games! There hasn't been anything groud-breaking on the pS2 as of yet... Red Faction is just another shooter! GT3 was Gt2 with 3D back-grounds... (And you thgouht Ninties didn't know what they were!) Onimusha is just a old version of resident evil where you have to save a chinese bird!

People will soon (1 month) realise that Nintendo offer good, fun to play, funny, graphically ound, and cool games much easier than Playstation...
Most PS2 owners have the console for a fancy DVD player (than can play the odd BBB title when it comes out!) The PS2 is a dying cause... it was a mere bridge between the Dreamcast/PSX/N64 to the Gamecube, or maybe X-Box... there are muchy better consoles available today for a much lower price. Dreamcast, N64, PSX (and GBA) PS2 just can't cut it! I'm not being biased it's true... the PS2 struggles to persuade the sensible gamer! Does this mean all PS2 owners are thick? Maybe.

Who cares which is the best or what games they like. The fact is you buy the console YOU want that has the games that YOU want to play. Nobody cares which is better/more powerful/has better graphics. If you are happy with it then thats all that matters.
I own a PS2 and I think its great. The GC graphics look good but I don't want one as more of the PS2 games that are going to be released appeal to me.

Despite Game's ramblings about how bad the PS2 is, I'm going to refrain from slagging the Gamecube and make one clear point to begin with; I have nt seen any screenshots/footage or previews of any game coming out for the Gamecube which I would buy, there, now you know why I have a PS2, lets get to the good stuff.
Later this year the Playstation 2 will have many good games reaching the system and wiping the smiles off Ninty faces. Wait a minute, no it wont, why?? Because I'm taking a guess here, but, most people considering buying a Gamecube will have looked at the catalogue of games coming and decided that this is the system they want to buy. With more sequels due than the Playstation :D they will have a rough idea of the sort of things that will be available to them come launch day, some eight months away.
For me I am currently content with my all region PS2 DVD player, and the fact that I have many games which I class to be very good games, hasn't dssapointed me in the slightest. Games such as Zone of the Enders, Onimusha Warlords, GT3, Red Faction, Starfighter, Timesplitters and Kessen are truely worthy of the amount I paid for them. The GT3 Force Feedback steering wheel is also brilliant, for once we have force fedback, on the best driving game ever, at an affordable price, not bad considering everything on the PS2 is so blatantly expensive, apparently.
With a little look to the future, I am looking forward to these games, months in advance of Nintendo and there little green plumber with a hoover. MGS2, Final Fantasy X, Pro Evolution Soccer, Herdy Gerdy, Jak and Daxter, Ace Combat 4 or Top Gun, Devil May Cry, Grand Theft Auto 3 and Xenosaga. Those are just the games at the top of my wish list, now for me, I can look down the Gamecube launch list, oops that took a while :D, and I can look at the games in development, and I can sigh as I don't see any games worth having. I am all for having more than one gaming system, I currently have a PS2, DC and PC. But I definately wont be buying a GC or Xbox at launch, they just don't appeal to me.
Then we see that the PS2 will be online and broadband to boot possibly by Christmas, maybe the end of January, hmmmmmm, so dissapointed with my PS2 I am.
