yo people! i warn u to buy gamecube as it is no good! today it released in Japan and only attracting a fraction of the queue of Final Fantasy X, therefore it is not even proven to be a success! with its poor luanch titles, only 3 that is, the future of it doesnt look very bright!
Nintendo has rushed its 128bit console and rememmber folks, rushing never succeeds, a perfect example is Dreamcast!!!!!!!
The future on excellent gaming entertainment is on PS2! it has wide support from developers and huge games library with and its hardware with huge potential. If u dont own a PS2 then u dont have a good life! I advise u people to go to Special Reserve and buy one of those excellent PS2 bundles!

Oh great! Another topic where there are arguments over which console is better. But the Gamecube isn't out over here yet, so maybe you should save argument until it is.
It is not always wise basing your arguments on what magazines say, because, although they may not be misleading you, they can make mistakes, and there is also that word 'hype', which could be a reason for the Gamecube not doing as well as hoped in Japan.
I am not siding here, but praising a console that you haven't even had a go on yet is a bit pointless.

It can also take GBA's as it controllers....

The Gamecube did not have a failed launch, infact a successful launch in the profit barriers of Nintendo and with the market in the way it is over there. The game are not poor, Famitsu gave them all over 30/40 which is an incredible score for a any game let alone three.
