hey hey! i've been looking for a web designer for sometime and SR just happened to have the perfect price on it, £4.99! well it's cheap, but it looks good for a start, maybe i'll move onto something more challenging when i get more experience.
anyway, for the people who care, i've just started using the programme and it's very easy, it might take a bit of time to master, but it's the same with everything.
lots of easy drag and drop, pictures, back grounds, buttons......it could be good for people using other templates as a simple data CD, design them on the web artist programme then upload them into your web page.
Everything looks great on it and there are thousands of images to choose from:
15,000 print artist graphics
1,000 backgrounds
1,500 animations
2,000 sounds.
now, this wasn't any walk in the park to put together in the first place so it must hold some fountain of knowledge which could be useful for any 'wanna' web designer, especially for people who havn't got the patience to leanr .php or .html like me :) i've tried programming games but it's too complicated and why should I when I only need something pleasing to the eye fast but simple! it's been made for me, all I need to do is the finishing touches and a bit of personality, then it's complete!
very nice and although it's a cheat, the end product is worth more than the price tag.

cool, I don't like netscape. I only use it at college, maybe they'll have got rid of it already? I can dream....
Should be a lot easier for designers now, netscape has ceased to be. Collapsed earlier, although presumably the mozilla project is still running as it's not a commercial venture.

well, to tell the truth the sites worth over £5mil, some big company named Microsoft or something, but I didn't sell it, it's just a hobbie.

are you using Netscape? I don't think it works with many web browsers, i'm not sure.

well, i'm reading the manual and it's not as good as i'd thought, 'sortof' well, it hasn't got thousands of backgrounds, it has about 100 and you can change the colour to 100 different varients :D it's still agreat programme though £5 for a look isn't bad.
well it's just good fun to play around with.
+ freeservers.com has to be operated online aswell, unless your working on a page and your uploading your own images + if you have broadband surely it's as fast as being offline.
oooh, I had a play on a test PC at telewest's Studio today, it's great stuff, I can't wait until my PCs running it!

with the web artist programme, your given fully customisable buttons and back grounds, everythings really easy, but from what I saw of your site, if you made it yourself you might not need this programme.
