As most of you know Resident Evil:Zero is on it's way to the gamecube and until now the only availible pictures were of the scrapped N64 version.

Capcom have released very little information about this game and rumors are everywhere about RE1.5 meeting RE0 which means grenades, protective clothing and other cool features but now it's all starting to come clear.

I've just seen the BRAND NEW beta images of RE:ZERO and all I can say is "well blow me" the attention to detail is Phenomenal and the graphics are ABSOLUTLY STUNNING. Question is will the game be as good as it's Predecessors only time will tell but it's looking EXCELLENT.

The game is set before the first Resident Evil and follows the Bravo team which means people, that the Spencer Estate mansion is fully "REMASTERED" and you can even walk the dark woods of RACOON FOREST, how class is that???

People who've played the original will reconise the mansion but with the GC's technology new elements have been added such as more pictures on the wall, lighting effects, shadows etc and everything is just so realistic.

This can also be a bad thing, When Code veronica was released people were up in arms about killing being so real so it was cut down and edited, This may be the prime reason Capcom are keeping everything about the new game close to their chest so hopefully the game will appear how capcom intended.


If your after something away from the very colourfull nintendo games I'd take a very good look.

I was gonna say they look a bit Resi Evil 1, wow at last I can play this game and actually enjoy it, I tryed playing it on the PC but I couldn't get over how bad the graphics where. Does anyone know if there gonna keep the fixed camera angles or go for the Code Veronica style moving camera?

This looks amazing! This seems to be a big vote of confidence from Capcom towards Nintendo, which is pretty surprising considering the poor support the N64 got. And having them select the Gamecube rather than the PS2 or the mighty X-Box for their top-selling series suggests that it is a lot better than both the rivals. Also, with this series on the GameCube, other companies will have to think twice about the GameCube's stautus as a kids machine, and may even make Konami think again about Metal Gear Solid. Let's hope, eh?

Oh, yes, this was really a great sight for the eye... I have´nt watched it yet though...

So lets get this straight!

The ground team go into this beautifully detailed mansion, most of them get killed (I wonder if you play as forest against those crows...) and then when the rest of the team come looking for them (Chris, Jill, Barry and Wesker) the mansion pixellates and losses it's detail...

Looks good. And it would be nice to have a make over of all the original ones too.
I only got so far on the original at my friends house.

My god, that looks incredible, the detail on the zombies is so realistic. I dont think i will be getting much sleep if i buy that game, thats for sure.

WOW every resident evil game set to have a 128bit makeover to the standard of resident evil zero, words can't describe how excited I am but remember something, Capcom change their mind all the time and "mess" people around. I hope they stick to this because it's gona be FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well what can I say all the Resident Evil games are gonna be Gamecube exclusives, good good, so much for survival horror games on the PS2.
