Will this ever happen? I really want this game but can't afford a PS2 + none of my friends have one! *Fog sobs, I love this game!

I recon they will put their hearts into that one. TOCA has been in stiff competition with GT every episode, with many arguing which was better. TOCA won't want that rep to fall, and seeing the quality of GT3, and the extra development time TOCA has, it might be something special by the time it's released.

I doubt it will have Sony backing like GT3 did, though. Not adverts and stuff anyway.

Personally I though TOCA was pants.

I have a good budget for a new PC, including a geforce 3 video card, and I can't afford a PS2 ontop of that + it would go against the last 7 years of my life and i wouldn't want a PS2 for one game only.
Thanks for your help, I don't like TOCA becuause it's bloomin touring cars, ok so I have to shop around, thanks everyone.

Sega GT for the Dreamcast. A bit like Gran Turismo 2, but better graphics, faster framerate, and more bits to it.

Yes, TOCA Race Driver. It looks good, but not *as* good as GT3. But it is still in development.

I think it's due on other platforms too.

TOCA used to be argued as as good as the GT series, and it includes damage, but its not been updated to match GT3 yet.

I've heard its in the pipes for a PS2 release though...

Nearest you'll get is the TOCA series I think.

I don't think Polyphony are actually *owned* by Sony - they just have very close ties.

Microsoft apparently approached them to make GT3 for the Xbox, but Polyphony said no.

Anyway, Fogmaster... to run GT3 on a PC you'd need a hefty graphics card, and that may cost you more than - or at least the same as - a PS2 with GT3!

Fraid not cause the games actually made by a company owned by Sony. Polyphony Digital or something.
