Hollywood has apparently stopped screenings of the John Travolta film SwordFish, as it features a blowing up a building (or something, haven't seen the film myself, heard this on the radio this morning).

Also, trailers for Spiderman have stopped being shown, as it features him climbing up the WTC.

the spiderman trailer doesn have spiderman climbing up it it...
it shows a helecopter escaping from a robbery and suddenly stopping mid-air...then the helecopter gets pulled backwards by spidermans web leaving the chopper suspended in mid air...the camera zooms out and shows a giant spiderweb in between the twin towers with the helecopter in the middle like a fly...very cool but weird now they arent there any more..hmmm

quicktime has removed the trailer too
wo the official spiderman web site is down too!

I think this is more a mark of respect than any anything else.

We all want to do something, but there's very little we can to help.
Radio stations are not indulging in idle chat etc, movies are being replaced.

I personally think this is a way of marking respect and sorrow for thousands of deaths of innocent, everyday people.

Just my thought

Just said on the radio that loads of films have been postponed because they feature the building. Also the Emmys are delayed, and TV are replacing films of a similar storylie with ones of a more family natire.

Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this weekend then...

Not sure about Swordfish, as many films show 'a building' being blown up.

Proabably good about the Spiderman movie, though, as that is directly related.

I wonder if they'll cut the scene from the movie?
