I don't think it would.
It was a big event, hijacking 4 planes, planting car bombs etc.
It would have taken years to plan. Surely someone, at some point in time, heard something about it.
I find it impossible to think that no one in the FBI or CIA or whatever had heard anything about this.
Maybe if pilots could Gas everyone in the plane that might have helped.
As for MS flight sim being used to train terrorists to fly thats rubbish the terrorists trained to fly in the US by professionals.

I wouldn't give them *too* much credit at the moment. After all, they did miss this entire episode.

With the inteligence that the U.S government has I think they would know if this had happened. They already know all the terrorists on-board the planes. They know where they learned to fly and a bit about how it was all pieced together.
I think they already know who is responsible and just want to finalise everything and then we will see some reaction by the U.S. They wont react if there is any doubt as to who is responsible.
It's a game, nothing more.
I have stayed silent on this whole issue because my feelings are tainted with thoughts of revenge for a dead Uncle and a not entirely balanced viewpoint right now.
I play flight sims, I have tried to fly into buildings whilst playing flight sims.
Everyone has, doesn't mean the game is a bad thing.
(I'm aware that isn't even the claim, but it will be discussed at length by those that choose easy targets)
Why not Counter-Strike? A terrorist/anti-terrorist game.
Why not Desert Strike/Jungle Strike?
Why not blame Tom Clancy because he wrote a book about terrorists flying a plane into congress and wiping out everyone.
This cannot be explained away with the usual excuses and scapegoats, this is too important.
Music did not cause this, games did not cause this.
We dont know what caused it, we can speculate about US foreign policy, Islamic Jihad, Muslim Extremists etc etc
All I know is thousands of people are dead, and nobody knows why someone would do this.
Again, I know that this isn't the argument, but it will be.
"Marylin Manson said to do it"
"Microsoft Flight Sim said to do it"
This kind of arguments (not by anyone here, but by Congress,Policians etc) degrades the importance and memory of the thousands upon thousands of people that lost their lives, and those that we just don't even know if they are still alive.
This is not a time to look for reasons, this is a time to heal, to hug and to come together.
> Dammit, YH, ya beat me to it.
Lol, sorry mate.
:-)
The possibility of an inside job isnt ruled out, people can get on an interstate plane as easy as we can get on a bus. it was an interstate trip, and they could ahve been dumb enough to have tried the car decoy...
So they left all this stuff lying around, to make it look like someone else.
