Much as I love my girlfriend, I have loved gaming since before I knew her. It's not a tough one to choose, but lets see how they compare anyway.
Girlfriend pros.
* Gives better cuddles in bed
* Can pick you up from the pub when you are too drunk to walk
* Can do the cleaning, ironing,cooking, washing up.... (I'll get a slap for that one...)
* Gives better "lovin"
* Makes sure you get up in the morning
* Fun on holiday
* Scratches heal
* Mates can fix them without having to go to a repair shop
* Has better Ai (debateable)
* Better looking in the nod (better than circuit boards)
* If you get her to dress like Lara Croft you can do the things you wanted the game to do
* The warranty doesnt run out - You can allways change a faulty one
* Makes a better cup of tea
* Makes you look good when you have two on your arm at the pub (rather than a potential mugging victim)
* Looks better in a bikini
* Never runs out of credits
* Can operate in a powercut
* Multiplayer isnt 10p per min. (but sometimes a lot more...)
Gaming pros.
* Always in the mood for fun
* You choose the games every time
* Turned on by the flick of a switch
* Doesn't take you to the cinema to watch Titanic
* Could give good "lovin" - the blue light keeps winking at me and theres this HDD slot :?
* A good reason to get up early on a weekend
* Fun on holiday (GBA)
* Comes with a manual
* Doesn't own 560 pairs of shoes
* Doesn't get ill on 15 bacardis (well, probably does of you poured them in the cart slot..)
* Doesn't tell your female friends your personal details and measurements
* Better trade-in rates
* Can borrow your mates machine for a change for a week
* Don't have to fix their car
* Doesn't get ill
* Doesn't have a "time of the month"
* You can just turn it off if it winds you up too much
* Doesnt get jealous if you look at other consoles

(Obviously, I would choose my girlfriend over my PS2, (It's our 6 year anniversary this weekend), but the idea popped in my head and I thought it was funny.)
