I don't know it's really my place to say this, but I'll say it anyway.
I'm pleasantly surprised how everyone on here reacted yesterday to the terrible news.
We all pulled together with no name calling, no rudeness. We talked together in a calm and civilised way, offered support where it was needed, and were generally about for each other.
That made me very proud to be a part of these forums.
I guess a "thankyou" or a "well done" is in order, but I'm not sure which.

Yeah, you've only got to go looking at other forums, and find the utter mess they're in, to truely understand why this site is so special.

Oh, I'm sorry about that but it seemed to me that more posts where deleted. I apologise for that mistake, but I do agree with what you said and I would like to add something to that, I have never found a site quite like this. The people here make it a special place, including the staff, not the prizes but the people you can met and talk to.
Just a quick note, only one person was banned yesterday. That person had 7 accounts which is why it seemed like more. I also believe that only a few very strong posts were removed. It is nice to see how pwoplw have respect for these forums and the people who use them. This is rare in Internet forums.
I only know of 1 deleted post and 1 person that got banned for something they posted this morning.

I hate to be the one to say this, but a lot of posts and members where banned as a direct result of yesterdays tradegy. But overall all regulars to this site showed a mature feeling to this crisis and that is what makes me proud to be here. All of my feelings go towards the famlies of the victims.
Definately a pat on the back for all of us.

Very nice and quite right too. It's good to know that even though we see evil every day there are many good people in this world who will support and help each other (of course they say that no news is good news). The people who give blood, the people who give support the people in the emergency services, all must be congratulated for their help. It is easy to forget that there is good in the world because evil tends to be more noticable. This incident has given us a chance to realise that though I wish that it did not have to happen.
