Smackdown is normally recorded live on Tuesdays but due to the events of yesterday, it was postponed to Thursday:
WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION ENTERTAINMENT POSTPONES TONIGHT’S LIVE EVENT AT COMPAQ CENTER
STAMFORD, CONN., September 11, 2001 - Due to the tragic events across the United States today, World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. has postponed tonight’s live event at the Compaq Center in Houston. The event is currently rescheduled for Thursday, September 13 at 6:30pm (CST). All tickets for tonight’s show will be accepted on Thursday night.

This will not effect us though, as we will still see Smackdown on Saturday.
