"should i get Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance?"

i'm an rpg junky with nearly every final fanasy and zelda game (also have skies of arcadia: legends) and i love them to bits.

i have been hearing about Baldur's Gate off my mates but seeing how my computer is so slow i can't get on the pc. however i have got a ps2/gc and so was wondering about get Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

so i ask the people of this good forum: should i Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance and if so at what price second hand.

Heh, thought for a minute there you wouldn't mention Dark Chronicle for once.

BG:DA on the PS2 is nothing like the PC versions, the PS2 version concentrates more on the hack and slash dungeon exploring and there's no party forming.

Aside from that aspect, it's still a good action-oriented RPG in its own right, and possibly some of the best graphics on the PS2 come with it. Shop around and you should get it for around £15 or less 2nd hand.

If you want the best RPG out there that beats Final Fantasy, Zelda and Skies, get Dark Chronicle which was released a couple of weeks back.
