Anyway, got myself a secondhand Dreamcast from Game Station on Friday along with a few games - Jet Set Radio, Bust A Move 4, and Gunbuster 2(or something like that).
Apart from the obvious Shenmue, what other games can people recommend ?
Which brings me to my second question.
I really want Samba De Amigo, but I lack the funds to buy a PAL version, hence imports is the only way to go, hopefully a US one if I get lucky.
Now I know that the Dreamcast has various discs which people did to allow playing of imports on the console - both free and retail ones.
Anyone know websites/names of retail or free ones and how good they are ? The Gamecube has a retail import enabler disc so they're obviously legal - hence why I'm asking here. Any info appreciated as at the time of the Dreamcast I merrily bought a PS2 instead :P
However a US version of Samba is right now somewhere on a flight over the Atlantic and I'm 14 mins away from getting some Maracas. They're third party ones because I just don't have the money to get the Sega ones right now but Lik Sang sells the same kind so they should be okay. If I really like the game, then as soon as possible I'll seriously go after Sega Maracas.
Altogether, including shipping costs, I've got (assuming I win the auction) US Samba and Maraca's for about £40, both game and Maracas are new and sealed.
Also, you can try the various DC pages set up by users which have this and open source ports of Quake etc.

Empty the shop of them ! From what I've read on the internet Sega only offered them online via their website in Europe but I suppose it's possible some could have found their way into stores somehow.

Couple of hundred quid? Even e-Bay have sold out.
I second MSR as a choice, and would add Skies of Arcadia.
I'd actually got a copy of half life, though I haven't put it on CD yet. When it became available on the internet I downloaded it anyway in case it became hard to get, and by some strange miracle I still have it on the hard drive somewhere. Good job you reminded me !
