GBA SP - £100 inc a game, which I can take to canada, if/when.
Viewtiful Joe - Something to hold me over until I go
Fifa 2004 - But when I get back from canada there'll be fifa 2005...
So, what do I buy?
> When are you going again?
Don't know, I have to have an operation first, and I've still not heard when it'll be.
It's peeing me off though, the waiting. I can't really get a job because I don't know how long I'll be available, so I'm just hanging round, waiting.
Hence why I need a new game :^)
Forget FIFA 2004, straight off. I'd say get an SP really, for the lasting appeal, but the damn things are so overpriced that (if it's possible) a GB Player would be the best option. Viewtiful Joe is essential, but in your position, I wouldn't think it's appropriate.
Out of those three, a GBA SP is the best bet.
It'll give you something to do in your spare-time over there, if you're feeling 'new' to it all and still don't know what's-what during your first-week-or-so.
As for games, you could either go for a long-lasting RPG like Golden Sun or Zelda, or perhaps something you could pick-up-and-play, like, maybe Advance Wars or something... But it really depends on how much you intend on playing games over there. But I'd go for an RPG, anyway, since you can only afford one. :)
No use buying a 'Cube game if you're only gonna rush through it before you go, never to see it again until you get back - if even you're not already playing another game!
When are you going again?
Have a good time! :)

Now to decide on the games for that...

No chance, I'll be setting my sights at far cheaper women than that
Old habits die hard :^)
