ps. Mario Sunshine looks amazing
Good Nintendo would think.
Now though with this new look it's not as appealing and although you shouldn't judge a book (or in this case a game) by it's cover people do and this isn't going to appeal to people.
Unless people are Zelda fans they will not buy this! Nintendo need to change the look to gain popularity for their console, they don't want to go and make one of their top titles look rubbish (even if it does play well) it's not going to help them in the 'console wars' so to speak.

No, we have another year to wait for that one.
It's gaurenteed to be launched by the end of 2002 - in Japan.

Miyamoto DID say he hates people copying his ideas, hence he's hiding them for now.
Could the radical change in look be merely a smokescreen for the lack of innovation in the game itself?
Personally, I doubt it, but it's worth asking the question.
I imagine that the game will be as innovative as eah of its predecessors, but retail the things that make it what it is, I await details of Links quest, it looks to be set in Hyrule, and it looks as though Link will be after Ganon rather than Ganondorf - and yes I know they're the same but they're different forms.
It's much smoother than it's N64 predessessor and rather than static dodgy enemies and characters, everything is beautifully brought to life.
The only problem with the video is that it only showed one type of enemy. Hopefully the badguys in the new Zelda will be even more diverse than the N64 ones.
