EVeryone keeps sayin how easy it is to score freekicks but i just cant do it, will some give me and im sure others a step by step guide to scoreing one from say 25yrds!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or, alternatively just hold Up while taking the free kick.

on your screen u have a meter, once you have set the position where u want the ball to go, and the spin, press the x button, the bar on the meter will start to go up, for best results, stop the bar by pressing the x button again about 3/4 of the the way up the meter, the bar will start to go back down again, try to stop the bar about half way by pressing the x button again. that should give u a good result.
It maybe difficault at first but read wot i have said very carefully and u should do ok :-}. Good luck.. Me

Oh, i forgot to say that holding R1 whilst taking the free-kick also puts a little bit more power, which is only really useful from far out or from the edge of the box and you want to blast it the same side of the keeper (good against keepers with poor response times)

I found free-kicks easier on the last game. Hardly ever score on this one but could usually score about 1 out of every 3 on the last game.

I think free kicks are much easier than in the previous games.
This comes from someone who managed to score a 40 yard free kick with Jermain Defoe!
