Another 1st round King of the Ring match, this one between Jerry Lynn (Jet) and Booker T (Seifer). This could be a tricky match for Jerry Lynn but anything can happen.

Jerry Lynn comes to ring first. A mixed reception awaits him. I’m not sure the fans know what to expect from Lynn who has been plagued with injuries during his career.

‘Can you dig it, sucka’ and here comes Booker T. A chorus of boos ring out around the arena.

The bell sounds and this one is underway.

They lock up and Booker T takes control with a head lock. Lynn battles out and runs off the ropes. An attempted clothesline by Booker T missed but Booker T didn’t miss with a spin kick right in the face of Lynn. Booker T (Seifer) is doing a bit too much showing off as he picks up Lynn (Jet) and snapmares him.

Booker T whips Lynn off the ropes. Reversal. Standing Dropkick by Lynn to Booker T. Booker T gets straight up and gets arm dragged to the mat by Lynn. Lynn starts using his mat based skills and locks in a bow and arrow submission! Booker T is struggling but he has managed to wriggle free and get an inside cradle pin. 1, 2,…….. KICK OUT!

Lynn (Jet) is slightly quicker to recover and throws Booker T (Seifer) out of the ring. Booker T hangs on to the ropes and lands on the apron. Lynn spots this quickly and slides through Booker T’s legs. Lynn grabs Booker T’s legs and drops Bookers face on the ring apron. A clothesline gives Lynn full control.

Booker T struggles to get up and sees a superkick approaching. Booker T manages to grab Lynn’s leg but Lynn hits an enziguri right on Booker T’s face! Booker T looks like he is out cold! Lynn is not going to let Booker T recover so Lynn picks up Booker T and rams his face on the announcer’s table.

Lynn (Jet) wants to do more damage and throws Booker T (Seifer) towards the ring steps. Reversal. Lynn flies into the ring steps with a huge impact! Booker T drops a knee on Lynn’s face. Booker T picks up Lynn and drops him on the security barrier. Booker T drops a massive kick to Lynn’s back! Lynn is in big trouble!

Booker T throws Lynn back into the ring and covers him. 1, 2……. KICK OUT! Lynn is fighting hard through the pain! Lynn staggers to his feet as Booker T runs off the ropes. Lynn does a drop toe hold on Booker T. Lynn is really stuggling but he has bought himself some time!

Booker T (Seifer) gets up and kicks Lynn (Jet) is the stomach! AX KICK RIGHT ON THE BACK OF LYNN! THIS ONE IS OVER! Booker T is not going for the cover! OH NO! IT’S THE SPINAROONI! He is wasting valuable time! Cover by Booker T. 1, 2………. LYNN KICKS OUT! Wasted time by Booker T has given Lynn the chance to recover!

Booker T is looking a bit frustrated and he starts to kick and chop Lynn towards the turnbuckle. Booker T whips Lynn towards the opposite turnbuckle but it is reversed. Lynn follows Booker T and grabs hold of Booker T’s head. Lynn runs up the turnbuckle and hits a wonderful TORNADO DDT! LYNN HAS PRODUCED HIS FINISHER OUT OF NOTHING! Lynn is struggling to follow this up and after a few valuable seconds, Lynn makes the cover. 1, 2……….. KICK OUT! Booker T kicked out barely!

Lynn (Jet) and Booker T (Seifer) are both struggling to get to their feet. Lynn is just up first and runs off the ropes but is caught by Booker T in the BOOKEND! An instant cover by Booker T! 1, 2…………..3!!!! BOOKER T HAS WON THIS MATCH!

A lot of credit has to go to Jerry Lynn (Jet). He fought well.

WINNER: BOOKER T (Seifer)

Sorry if this match isn’t that good. I don’t really know much about either of these wrestlers.

He does still use the Bookend, just not as much as he used to.

I just thought it would be the best way of finishing it.

Well from his matches toward the end of the old WCW, he usually did the axe kick followed by the spineroonie as a setup for the Book End.

Great match GP!!

Does Booker T still do the BOOK end?
Or was that just while he was fueding with the rock?

I thought the Axe Kick was his finisher now?

Still nice going GP!

Is art imitating life? Cos poor ol' J.L. looks like he's gonna be under-used in the forum wrestling as well ;).
Seriously though, good match, you reflcted the wrestlers range of m,oves and styles well, which is hard to do.

Maybe for the next round people should say if they're gonna have trouble writing a certain match. I know I could have written a Jerry Lynn match, coz I've seen 3 of his ECW matches.

I couldn't think of any moves except their finishers so I had to look through previous episodes of Raw, Smackdown and Heat to get some moves.

I'm glad everyone liked it.

I'm not gonna read it, coz I just watched JFK which is 3 hours long, and my eyes hurt somewhat.

But i'll just say good match, as everyone always does.
