Holy poop! This is one of the most enjoyable games I've played in ages. Tried it out on Live earlier too. Got thrashed. I cried. The only thing I'm not too keen on is that the controls take a while to master fully, but the promise of being able to participate in 16-player dogfights is too good to miss so I'm sticking with it. Crimson Skies rocketh muchly.

I think it should say on the back of the box. Should be highlighted.

It is.

On the back of the Crimson Skies box, it says "Content DL". I'm assuming "DL" either stands for "Download" or "Diarrhea Lombardo". Either way, I'm happy. There's also a "Content Download" option in the game. So there's no doubting that additional content will be available; it's just a matter of when it'll appear.

Hence the reason why most Xbox Live games have it highlighted on the back of the box.

Chances are that there'll be atleast one downloadable peace of content at some point, even if it is only a picture of an elbow that gets displayed if you win a multiplayer match just to get out of any 'false advertising' lawsuits.

After having now got the game, I can honestly say I'm not impressed.

I haven't yet played it, but I haven't protein-stained myself yet from holding it in my hands :D

Damn it, now I'm torn between this and Top Spin.

I want Top Spin because, well it looks great, but numerous reviews compare this to Mech Assault (one of my fave Live games still), and now I don't know what to get....

I would if I could !

I've decided to go for Crimson Skies and leave Top Spin until next, I'll be selling a few bits and pieces before Christmas so that'll get the money in for Top Spin.

One game that has surprised me is Project Zero - I remembered you on about it ages ago Sav - and bought it from GAME for 9.99 on Halloween, a really spooky, unique, game.

Yeah its a good little game. :-) I just ordered Rainbow Six 3 with the headset online. Been sorting out a few games for trade in so that I can get at least most of the games I want in the Christmas run up.

I'll have plenty of Live games by Christmas - with the exception of the GTA double pack and Secret Weapons Over Normandy, all the other games I want over the next few weeks will all be online playable. Excellent. :-)

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
