A poem is something that comes from your mind and sometimes maybe your heart, this poem inpericular just came to me out of nowhere. I just started writing something and then adjusted it, and before anyone says so. It isn't a GAD attempt, just something to intrest myself on these long nights.

Thanks for the response, I also love poetry I did one a while ago and if you go back a few pages you'll find it otherwise if anyone wants me to I could just reprint it. It took me ages and was just a good laugh, named 'Tony's Typical Day'. Thanks again.

My poetry is very modern:-
There was a young man from (enter destination),
who tried/thought/etc (enter something amusing that rhymes with destination),
when (further the tale in an amusing fasion),
he (something more amusing than, but still rhymes with the line above),
and now he (complete poem with a rhyme of the first two lines)
...if a little lame.

I'm quite a good poet and I do write them often. They usually carry some sub-messages about Bill Gates being the antichrist... those are the fun ones. The serious ones I do get published regulary by a local magazine. I love writing poetry
Poems are fun to read, but hard to write. I'm glad I'm not doing one.
