Seen that the new site is up with a little content and a teaser video.
Looks quite good, just hoping that it has a similar impact as the first one.

By the hird level you are hooked. Getting to the third level is a major chore.

This is a problem with all games that Warren Spector is involved with unfortunately. Thief 2 took me 3 weeks to get into. It was a case of "I'll play it, I can't be bothered, I'll try again, to hell with it" and only when I got into the game was I addicted.

A game should hook from the start, but for those that persevere, Deus Ex gives a fantasic gaming experience.

You are the only two other people on the internet who didn't like GoldenEye, as well as me.

Hhhmm, well possibly you guys thought that because you know the PC FPS. But on a console it truly was genius, multiplayer heaven :D

Deux Ex cannot rival Goldeneye because they are totally different.

D.E is a mix of loads of genres - Goldeneye was an FPS.

Although I thought Goldeneye was a load of crap anyway

Well, Warren Spector is involved (Thief, Thief II, Thief III, System Shock, System Shock II) so we will be getting a groundbreaking, although poorly selling title I feel.

I'm still trying to decide whether or not the original is my favourite game of all time or not - it probably is, just I don't have the balls to commit myself like that! :/

It truly was such an amazing game. Heard that the sequel will be significantly shorter. This, I DON'T approve! :(

Still, will go take a looksy at the site now, cheers for the heads-up. :)
