Seen that the new site is up with a little content and a teaser video.
Looks quite good, just hoping that it has a similar impact as the first one.

I'll probably have to re-purchase Deus Ex before getting the sequel - to get the storyline back into my head.

It's only like a fiver now aint it?

It is strange though, since Deus Ex got so many game of the year awards, and every magazine that mentions it calls it one of the best games ever. The reason I bought it was because PC Zone gave it 94%.

Yeah, the magazines and nets play a big part in a games release.

Well it hasn't been hyped half as much by magazines and websites for one thing.

What annoys me about Deus Ex is all those "casual" gamers won't buy it because of the name. They think because it has a weird name it must be a crap game. You hear everyone talking about all the top PC games coming out like Half-Life 2 and Doom 3, but never Deus Ex: Invisible War. What's up with that?

The first few levels on Deus Ex just set the scene for you, showing what a mess the world is in. After the opening stages the game really picks up in term of action, storyline and choice of what you want to do. I have actually just started the game again, and am going to complete it for the ninth time.
