I am considering entering into the console market, having grown bored with my usual pursuits (corrupting the young etc) and need some opinions:

Playstation 2
Gamecube
or wait for the X-box?

If you wanna be original, I have this Atari Jaguar....

Also depends on what you want.

Gamecube will be ok, but personally I find they lean towards the younger market.
PS2 is ok, not that many killer titles out right now (still almost a year after release)
Dreamcast is ok and pretty cheap.
X-Box...might be ok if you can get over that automatic Bill-Gates loathing.

I say get a 3DO.

If youre looking for a new console then why not get one that is actually available? Makes sense to me...

I reckon you should wait for the xbox, but they may not have much titles out when it launches in spring summer 2002,
but there is an advantage the games should be a whole lot better than the ps2's games are, and the graphics will be drastically improved.

so there ya have it the xbox should be your console of choice.

my mummy bought mea playstation2 and its really nice it plays all my older games like barbierace and ride and the spicegirles and my cousin has got one nad he lends me his armymen game and i really like that one becauseit moves the screen do you dot have to poress up but i die really easyly but i stll play it

Well I don't know about which console to get, but I do know that you can't beat a good singsong round the piano.
