Honestly, you'd think using a computer would at least indicate a level of intelligence, but the "hey there" responses have sadly reinforced the stereo-type of male-gamers being woefully under-schooled in the ways of the opposite sex.

I've been outside of these forums, and it's not a pretty site, the word/post count thing is nice, it's a bit of competition + it makes the site even bigger.
just a bit of fun + it gets put in the mag.
