It only seems to do it when my Xbox is on, and I know is related in some way to the scart cable of the GameCube, but when I looked in the manual for the GameCube, I couldn't find anything about a flashing light.
Any ideas why the light is flashing?

Or do the scientific thing, take out the SCART and see if it still flashes.
That's how I know it is related to the scart cable.

Note: How else could unwanted power transfer to my GameCube ONLY when the Xbox is on if it has nothing to do with the only cable that has any connection between the two consoles?
Ghosts.
Either that or its trying to get a message to you.
'What's that?, Timmy fell down the well?'
Oh, and yes, I think it has nothing to do with the scart cable.
It's Billy's box killing us all with radiation!
Buy a TV with multiple scart sockets.
It's expensive, yes, but so are hip operations.
