Whilst in France I got bored and so I switched on my Gameboy Advanced and stuck in Pokémon Silver. Almost simultaneously two 10-year-old boys approached me and what were presumably their parents. The told me to stop playing Pokémon as it is against the Christian religion. Very confused I asked them why? They replied that Psychic Pokémon are evil and from the Devil!
Ok??????
I thought they were they came from the twisted imagination of the blokes at NINTENDO HQ. Unless NINTENDO are really controlled by the devil and Pokémon is stage 1 of their master plan for world domination.
Now all jokes aside, criticizing Pokémon for making children jump out of windows (its odd my brother also jumps out of windows when Pokémon is on) is ridicules enough as Spiderman, Batman and Tom and Jerry would surly have a larger effect. As for being a product of the Devil!
I searched the bible and not once did I read thou shall not play Pokémon or about the evil demon Mewtwo. With all the murders, abuse and robbery’s happening in the world today we attack Pokémon for causing problems? Isn’t their better things to do than accuse a harmless computer game and a childrens cartoon as being the spawn of Satan.
