Gaming is most definatly addictive, especially on-line gaming because the thrill is always there and you can never complete an on-line game.
Take my brother for example he has been constantly playing Rougue Spear on-line for about two years now. There is a ladder for the game on-line, and some people have been playing it almost everyday since it came out. Any way back to the point, my brother comes home from school everyday and goes straight onto the PC, he stays on there for at least 4-5 hours a day. He's not the only one either, i know many people from school who have been sucked into this on-line gaming trap.
Whilst my brother is playing an important ladder match or something he gets very aggressive and hostile. At the moment the PC is all thats in my brothers life. He used to play football for a club and be very lively and social, but since we've had 'NtlWorld' installed he's been a completely different person. He doesn't think he has a problem but he obviously does, my parents get very concerned about the amout of time he spends on there and sometimes get very worried about his welfare.
He quite recently took maybe the most important exams of his life and failed most of them because he was using his time for gaming, instead of revising.
I'm not saying that it should be banned or anything, but they should definatly come with some kind of warning or precaution or something. I dont know if any of you know any-one with the same problem but let me know.

Thanx for taking the time to read this....

Gaming is certainly addictive, I can admit I'm addicted to gaming.

But how many people can't go on a bus without having a wire in each ear blasting music really loud into their ear drums?

How many people can't go a whole hour without sticking a tube of burning tobacco in their mouths whilst slowly killing themselves?

How many people drink loads of alchohol which will damage their livers?

Videogaming isn't the worst addiction out there!

Yes, gaming can be addictive TO SOME. Like gambling, and many other addictions, gaming addiction can affect 6% of the population... the normal number for this sort of activity...

Far less than the addiction rate to smoking and drugs...

Freeola & GetDotted are rated 5 Stars

Check out some of our customer reviews below:

Unrivalled services
Freeola has to be one of, if not the best, ISP around as the services they offer seem unrivalled.
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
