I have to admit im pretty disappointed, i went stright to a 150cc grand prix and it was so damn slow, i thought these issues were addressed? And what the hell has happened to the powerslide? Some guffy sparks come off of the wheels and it actually seems to slow you down.

I think i'll get The Return of The King instead.

Have to have two players in the Battle modes.

Solution: get two more friends.

Dunno...I HAVEN'T PLAYED IT YET.

In the multiplayer, can you play against the com or is it just like 64 when you HAVE to have 2 players playing.

Obviously. Don't worry, I owned the original Mario Kart and I know the meaning of multiplayer. Anyway, multiplayer is what Mario Kart is all about. I must have played Mario Kart 64 about 10,000 times in 4 player mode. This is not an exaggeration either.

Admittedly, it's not as good as it was before.

It helps on some of the later courses though, like the DK Island course, which has really challenging corners.

Feels strange at first, but can be helpful, and more importantly, useful.

What about the powersliding? Is it better than ive given it credit for?

Cookie, believe me, it's great.

I started off like this. It starts off slow and sluggish, but as you play it a bit more, you get used to the speed, everything starts to get more tactical, and the whole experience becomes a lot better.

I played some four player earlier as well, and I can honestly say it beats any game I've played on the Gamecube so far for 4-player madness. There are new modes included in battle, which are quality fun.

Very enjoyable.

Oh yeah, that's compulsory. When you get 4 mates around and start racing it had better be good...
