I get a message asking me if I would like to recieve free porn.

One minute of installing it:

"Hi there, I'm Linda! ;-)"

I reply.

"Hi there. I'm busy."

And that's all my experience with ICQ. My number thingy is 129702805, so add me at your own peril.

i havent been on it long but it seems really good. if you dont know already, it tells you when somebodies on line or not and without meeting up on any other websites you can chat to them there and then+you have a private chat room so no interferances from other users. I also like it because you can choose who you want ot talk to before you have actually talked to them, this way you only talk to the people that you want to and dont waste time with people who cant help you.

sorry for explaining all this if you already know i just thought id let you all know and find out who is on it and what others think of it.

No me neither, I prefer ICQ because, like you say, you can see whos online before you appear, saving loads of chat windows exploding open when you go to check email.
