Depends on the FSB of the processor. I have an XP2800 an as its running at 166mhzFSB the RAM is synced to 333mhzFSB even though its PC3200 which runs at 400mhz. From tests i've done and things i've read the best performance for a system is to keep the RAM at twice the FSB of the processor. Now with my machine there is a degrade in benchmarking when running the RAM at 400mhz while the CPU is at 333mhz. People have said this is wrong etc, but from what i've read and with my experience I have to say running RAM in sync is the best for performance. If I am wrong please tell me with some in depth knowledge or a article, so I can read and learn more about the subject area.

I want that MoBo my Via based motherboard cant run my 2.8 Ghz at anything higher than 2.9 without the most horrendous crashes ALL the time.
That RAM is letting the side down a bit - no?? why not get PC3200 RAM?
The 19" monitor is one that I "got" from helping out IBM, they were making booths for kodak, it had been made especially for that and i got it for free luckily enough as they are £600 new, and it was never used.
