"Dumbest Thing You've Ever Done..."

I showed off at a rocky crag in Dorset and I tried to walk when everyone else was crawling and I slipped, almost falling 30 feet to my death.

What other stupid or dumb things have you done?

Once at a freinds house we were throwing bits of wood into their old green house. It had not roof but small windows along the front and it wasn't used. I threw a huge pole type stick thing, it hit a metal beam in the green house and bounced back, going through the window in impressive, glass shattering style!

When i was at scouts we had some HUGE french bangers. One of the scouts decided to throw one into the road and he did. It went of right in frount of the car and the banger hit the windscreen. Nearly caused a nasty accident!

One time I decided to jump off a moving vehicle as I thought it looked easy as I saw people do it in the films but when I tried it, the Land Rover was going at about 20mph and I jumped off, landed, lost my balance, and went hurtling head over heels at 20mph over stony concrete. That hurt.

And one time when I was wee I decided to jump a four foot tall ledge in my bike but I didnt realize you had to go fast to make sure your front wheel didnt go over first. So I went at about 5mph and my bike went over the body and landed at the bottom of the ledge (also on stony concrete). I was knocked out for a few seconds, then I got up and walked away. But I really messed up muy eye and I got concussed and had to wait in A+E for about 4 hours.

And then there was the time I was ripping round the yard in my car at around 40mph and I never noticed the pile of oil lying on the ground which had leaked from a tractor. I went over the oil and braked at the same time (which I shouldnt have done) and I was split seconds away from hurtling into a concrete wall but I regained the control in time.

Oh yes, and the time I was about 9 or 10 and I was driving my dads Land Rover (the same one that I jumped out of) and the cat ran out infront of me and I swerved to miss it and I was going straight into one of those big 24 f00t high meal bins and I braked just in time and skidded and was literally 1cm away from it from my bullbars to it.

Quite a lot of dumb things Ive done there actually.

My Grandma lives in East Grinsted. I think i remember that.

Anyone who lives near East Grinstead will have read in the papers a few months ago about the boys who were playing with BB guns, and got surrounded by armed police, after someone had seen them, and thought they were real! Did anyone here see that?

I am getting a 125 trail bike. That could be dumb. Do I care? Nope.

I once shot a "cycilist" with a cap gun. He chased me and caught me. Just my luck. He was a bloody copper. He gave me a telling off and the old "don't do it again routine"

While white water kayaking I capsised after trying to do a trick (which I failed) and got wedged under water(going at about 35mph) between a rock and the water stopper! I was under for about 2 minutes, until someone pulled me out!
