Well, if the Demo counts. Me and gamezfreak had a most enjoyable match earlier (i.e I won)

If anyone else has the demo, please say so here. If the full game can connect to it too (Blood Gulch/CTF/Slayer onely I'm afriad) then that is cool as well.

We'll need a BB server and some sort of SR room tommorrow evening, I'd say.

Anyone interested?

When I use the latest drivers I get terrible performance, strangely. Have you tried running through some of the older 4x.xx's?

Although, the 50's were meant to improve performance on the FX cards.

Well, I've uninstalled the demo. Jerky at best on 640x480 with everything turned off. I have all the latest drivers etc, and every other game I own runs absolutely fine (except Homeworld II sometimes).

Well I can *PROBABLY* make a server sometimes tonight.

Athlon XP 2600+
512mb DDR RAM
GF4 Ti4800SE
And it runs ok(ish) at 1024x768, bit of slowdown sometimes, but nothing too bad.

So when we next gonna play this? I had a bash just now, but the lag on most of the servers drives me insane. I've got 560kb Broadband and it still lags like a crippled sloth.

Hmmm. Strange. I've got a something-or-other 1600Mhz processor, with 256 memory, and a 64Mb Radeon 9200 graphics card, and Halo runs absolutely fine at 1024 x 768.

What graphics card you got?

Oops, that's supposed to say Pentium 4.

Well, I got a Pentium 5 2.5ghz and it works fine for me. Maybe your doing something wrong?
