I was looking around the web and I found a story about a 22 year old man dying of heart failure after playing counter-strike all night without any breaks. It also went on to say that in the Far East some gamers are actually gamers as a living and can earn similar amounts to footballers.

But the best bit was a story about a man whos character was killed by a workmate while they were playing counter-strike. He jumped out his seat and started shouting "who killed me", a young guy confessed saying it was his character. The man then went over and started to fight with him and then stabbed him in the back. The man was then jailed for 6 years.

Is this normal behaviour? I know that when I play against my mates things get pretty heated but nobody goes crazy like this. The other day my friends and me were playing knockout kings 2001 on the PS2 and we all took it serious. After beating my friend to become heavyweight champion he decided to take things personally and try have a go at me, but everyone else decided to jump on him. All friendly fun of course and nobody really got hurt. So whats the worst you have done or have seen? Got any violent sore losing friends?

Wow, talk about bad losers...

The guy in Thailand who died playing CounterStrike was just plain silly, sitting at his keyboard without a break for ages then suffering heart failure because of the stress.

It just goes to show that you should really take heed of that 'take a break for 10 minutes out of every hour' warning that most games carry. Anyone who doesn't take heed of health and safety warnings has only themselves to blame.
