LOL, i'll have to try that, i'm not a DK fan though + thanks for the info on Cap Falcon, intresting.
Falcon was in the original being the best F-Zero X pilot.
The falcon barge is based on a move you can do in F-Zero X (barge left or right to damage your opponent or knock the off the track.)
For those of you who think that Smash Bros on the N64 was simply button bashing then it's because you simply didn't have the skill o patience to play it properly.
It takes a day or two to get hold of the control system but after that, you have a set of basic moves to use in the best way possible way. Dodging and implementing powerful attacks is skillful while trying to stay alive is also challenging.
Every character is unique and has his own strengths and weaknesses.
Yes, in fourplayer it could get a bit crazy and you might find yourself out of control being hit left right and centre but as you learn to play it better you'll work out how to come back and get stuck in the brawl again.
And it's definately the joint best N64 multiplayer game.
Only Perfect Dark can match it.
Oh, and Fogmaster, try this:
Put damage on 200%
Play as Donkey Kong against 3 level 1 Pikachu's.
Play on the DK level and stay at the bottom of the sceen holding down + B.
Now watch the pikachu rocket display :-D
On the other hand they could make 2-player teams eg. mario and luigi, pikachu and jigglypuff. If ever characcter had a team member i think it would be much more fun in multiplayer, you could have Pokemon vs The Italian Plumbers
see my point?
